Realistically the only changes are Emi is available, and Teemu might be. If Teemu isn't I'd maybe fancy seeing a youth team striker step up, as I really don't think Stieperman played the role very well, struggling to think if he even had a shot on goal. With Emi back in though, who knows?

I'd imagine Pukki has a chance for the bench, can't see him starting, wondering what the situation is with Aarons, if he's out do we switch to a back three?

Aye, would have thought so on the back three.

I'm guessing if Aarons is out then Sorenson moves to right back, Gibson left back and Zimmermann and Hanley in the middle? Farke has mentioned before that Gibson can cover at left back, though obviously it's not ideal by any means, particularly as him and Hanley have been so solid together. Either that or we'll switch to a 5 at the back.

But yeah, hopefully Aarons is ok. Buendia obviously comes back in and maybe Rupp and Pukki on the bench. At the very least that would give us the option to change things up if we need to.

Expecting a really tough game here, not least because Luton will have a home crowd behind them for the first time this season, which will surely give them a boost. Saturday's performance against Cardiff aside, Luton have been a really tough side to beat.

Can't see us playing all 3 CBs together. Injury to one and the soup gets even thicker if that's possible. Rumour is that Rupp still not fit, but it is rumour.

We have a busy month coming up, it's just as well we're not in the middle of a massive injury crisis...

Norwich City head coach Daniel Farke delivered some promising injury news in his pre-Luton press conference on Tuesday.

Max Aarons
had been forced off the pitch during Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Coventry City, but will be fine to start against Luton.

Tim Krul’s recovery is going well, and he won’t be out for any longer than the expected three weeks from his injury, according to Farke.

On Teemu Pukki, Farke said that the forward won’t be fit for Luton but will be in contention to face Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

“For the long term, some good news,” Farke said. “Kenny McLean could have been out for four or five months but that's not the case. He could be back around Christmas.

“Good news with Kieran Dowell. It looks like we can bring him back to training at the end of this week.

“We won't travel to Luton with much of a different squad, but Emi Buendia comes back after his suspension.”

Unfortunately, Lukas Rupp won't be available for the next two weeks, while Xavi Quintilla continues his recovery at Villareal. There were no updates to provide on Jordan Hugill.

from the press conference

Max Aarons is fine
all players from the Coventry game are available plus Buendia
Tim Krul
won't be out any longer than the expected three weeks
Pukki won't play, but should be available for the weekend
McLean should be back around xmas
Dowell should be back in training the end of this week

so nobody available that didn't play against Coventry with the exception of Buendia as expected, but overall a bit of positive news regarding a few of the injuries

I haven't bothered in the end, I go back to the US next week and am feeling a bit apathetic. My oldest son is working, and the youngest didn't have much enthusiasm. Football is about the whole day for me, the meal out before, the singing, the banter, the pub after.

You can invite one of us, we'll take a free meal and give you plenty of banter for your singing

Great news about Aarons, was really expecting him to be out for at least the next couple of days after seeing him go off. Positive as well that before Christmas we'll have Cantwell, Krul, Rupp, Dowell all back, and McLean, Xavi and Hugill in and around that time too. Pukki back on Saturday as well.

I wonder who will drop out in place of Buendia. I imagine Vrancic, with Martin, Placheta and Emi in behind Stiepermann.
