I've tried all the obvious buttons I'm familiar with from other message boards but nothing seems to work for me here.

Click on your name at the top of the page, then My Settings, the page will load then select Signature. As for quotes, are you using IE? I'm unable to quote in Internet Explorer 11 at work here aswell, Admin may know...

Wiz, can you tell me what browser you are using?

@Browno, will look into that regards to IE 11.

Once Wiz lets me know what browser he is using, I'll need to head over to Invision to read about this subject.

I'm on IE11 Canary Boy.

I've now solved the signature problem by doing it whilst logged into Firefox...........only the quote box to fix now.

I'm getting frustrated with the bugs I keep getting on here with IE11.

1. Quote buttons not working.

2. Can't cut and paste.

I can solve these issues by switching to Firefox but I'm one of those odd people who actually prefers IE11!

Can anyone help me please?

Don't use IE11 - But isn't there a compatibility mode built in there somewhere? Try that!?

Just had a look and the bug you're experiencing was fixed in version 4.0.0 Beta 1 of IP.Board (Which this forum is running on),this is running 3.4.6.  Which i think is the last stable release.

Think the copy and paste issue is a security feature placed into IE11 - Try this for a fix:

a. Open Internet Explorer.

b. Click on Tools.

c. Click on Internet Options.

d. Under Security tab, Click on Internet and then click on Custom level.

e. Scroll down and under Scripting, you will find an option “Allow Programmatic clipboard access”.

f. Under that click on Enable and click OK and again OK.

Other than that you may have to use firefox/chrome.

Skijumptoes is pretty much correct, hasn't been an update to this software for ages because Invision have been working on IP board 4.0 for ages, which is a major update. They have had a small group of beta testers for many months, presumably ironing out bugs. Not available to purchase on license yet. It was set for release earlier in the year but still no sign of it.

Because this forum is hosted by Invision we will get every update when stable (software license fee is built into hosting cost),but it may be a while as I presume they will initially roll it out to forum only customers (this forum actually uses multiple Invision products). I suspect that any compatibility issues with IE 11.0 will be fixed when IP board 4.0 is finally rolled out, and I doubt there is a patch I can install to fix it (because 4.0 should have been out by now, has been massively delayed).

But I will still get on the support forum and ask the question when I get around to it.

I'd rather they take their time getting 4.0 spot on so that I'm not forced to upgrade to a buggy unfinished product (which happened with Vbulletin 5.0, and ruined what used to be the best forum software!).

Wiz, I should be able to fix this quoting problem with IE 11, but haven't got the time to do it just yet - give me a few days.
