Issue with the messageboard?

Apologies, not sure where else to post this.

Recently when I click "Reply", I don't get any box in which to type - Instead, I see the option to add an attachment only and then the "submit" button. There is no free text box.  I'll try and screengrab it.

I use Google Chrome over Windows 10 so doubt it's that.  Any thoughts what it could be?

What was the issue, just out of curiosity? I'll delete the thread after!

Reason I ask is I sometimes get similar on my ipad.

The issue is that the Text box doesn't appear for me to type into - in the screenshot above that I just posted, see that I had nowhere available to type.

Hmmmm, dunno. On Chrome with Windows 7 here, with no issues. Like I say, had similar with ipad.

Its working for you now though, can you pinpoint what changed?

Sussed it.  I have an "agent spoofer" installed on Chrome so I can post/reply/quote on an eighteenth century messageboard elsewhere by setting my browser to emulate "Firefox".  If I ditch the spoof agent and run Chrome in default mode, everything is fine.

Yes and the mercury browser I use on my ipad has a similar emulator.
