Mr Webber.

Our Mr Webber has had quite the few days, and has certainly sparked debate. His interview came across as maybe a bit arrogant, but I essentially agree with him. He isn't there to appease fans who are upset at us being relegated. What I will say though is that I think Webber is still a bit annoyed over some fans part in the BK8 debacle.

Which has sparked many a debate on Twitter (and my Whatsapp group) as to who is to blame for relegation? One side says Webber blew our transfer budget on a load of shite, one side says we just can't afford to be in this league. Quite oddly, Delia isn't taking the stick she normally does when we get relegated, and I'm not quite sure why?

For me, I don't blame Webber, yes we had a fair amount to spend (in Norwich City terms anyway) but we had 7 or 8 (If I recall correctly) players to replace over the summer, and a set amount to do it with. Our biggest issue last time in this league was that we had a decent first team, but were badly exposed, through injuries, with a lack of depth. I would say this time the squad is stronger overall, with the first team weaker, which was always going to happen after losing Emi.

I think we are always going to have to take risks on players, we simply can't afford good quality, and especially Prem quality players, so most are going to be a risk, to some extent.

It will be interesting to see how things pan out, but I suspect Webber will be off, and I think that will be a shame, because he will leave us in a much better state than he found us. And I wouldn't bet against us doing the next appointment on the cheap, step forward our new sporting director - Neil Adams.

Time to go Mr Webber. No one is bigger than Norwich City.
There's a natural point for this to happen after the weekends games, once we're relegated.
Maybe they're talking about it this week, preparing an announcement for next week.

He's done alright but he hasn't worked miracles.

There have been some brilliant signings but he has signed some crap and actually it's now quite a lot of crap, expensive crap.

We all know we can't compete financially in the Prem but where him and his team need to make the difference is by making shrewd signings.

It's all about being greater than the sum of our parts and actually when we get to the Prem Webber (and team) have come up short.

Now that a proven operator in Dean Smith has also failed to get a tune out of these players there's nowhere to hide for Webber - although he may have his excuses.

One thing that Farke tried to drum into everyone is that nobody is bigger than the club and it is infact a privilege to be at NCFC. It looks increasingly like Webber does not subscribe to that.

I don’t hate him, he’s done a lot of good for the club but he seems to have become too powerful which has made him arrogant. Time to leave before he makes things awkward for his Mrs

Climbing to to summit of Everest isn't very simple, there are several unexpected challenges to actually achieving that goal. People die each year trying to do just that.
The amount of occasions which the summit can be reached are few, mainly due to weather conditions right at the top of the mountain. So you have to shelter in a makeshift tent near the top waiting for the window of clear weather, not too windy etc.
Obviously by the time you've reached that final stage point the amount of supplies you have with you is minimal and you're exhausted from the climb to that point.
When the window of clear skies comes, you have the last few hours to climb to the summit, but you can't because there's a queue. So many people have ascended the mountain in the weather window that you're waiting in a line for hours, freezing cold, with very little provisions just to get your photo on the summit.
Lot's of people have died recently in that situation as Everest has got more of a tourist attraction.
Good luck to him, but not for me, I'm not keen on queuing at a supermarket checkout let alone at the top of a mountain.

Nah not for me either, I used to do a bit of climbing in the Alps ( Matterhorn and Mont Blanc, amongst others) but was never bothered with going bigger / more dangerous.
