Players unavailable due to international call ups :-

Tim Krull
Max Aarons
Ben Godfrey
Todd Cantwell
Jamal Lewis
Michael McGovern
Teemu Pukki
Oliver Skipp
Adam Idah
Kenny Mclean
Przemyslaw Placheta
Jacob Sorenson
Danel Sinani

Injured (I think) :-

Sam Byram
Grant Hanley
Melvin Sitti
Aston Oxbrough

So from the first team squad, we have :-

Christoph Zimmerman
Lucas Rupp
Mario Vrancic
Jordan Hugill
Kieran Dowell
Timm Klose
Javi Quintilla
Emi Buendia
Marco Stiepermann
Josh Martin
Onel Hernandez
Bali Mumba
Alex Tettey
Sam Mcallum
Akin Famewo

I think the lad who went in nets for the Darmstadt friendlies, Barden, will be playing. I reckon we can get a decent team out of that!

Something along the lines of :-

Barden
Mumba Klose Zimmerman Quintilla
Tettey
Buendia Martin Dowell Hernandez
Hugill

Don't know what all the fuss was about!
I think it shows the depth we have this season, other than the goalie, those are all players that would either be in, or be very close to the first team. I was pleasantly surprised when I actually started looking at it!

Yeah, we should be good enough to get a result. I know some people aren’t bothered about the cups this season but it gives the fringe players the opportunity to get a proper game in, keeps their fitness up if nothing else

Yeah I quite like the look of that team considering how many players aren't available haha, though would like to see Famewo given a chance over Klose.

Hernandez and Quintilla injured, so that scuppers my prospective team!

I'm expecting big things from Josh Martin, this season.

So the irreplaceable Vrancic is not the wonderman, maybe a few on the other side will quieten down now
