Fantastic performance last night providing cover for Brad to allow him to go forward whilst also posing a threat himself. He looked absolutely shattered after the game in the Gunn Club but seems to be enjoying his more attacking role this season.

I'm not so bothered about Fer but would be absolutely gutted if we lose Tettey in the next couple of weeks.

Just hope he can stay fit, as he has had long spells out in both of the last two seasons.

Would love him to sign, but hearing all the stuff from his agent this summer I think it's probably unlikely.

He gave his all last night, took about an hour for him to get to the Gunn Club interview and he could hardly walk! He was just knackered, not injured though.

Would love this bloke to sign a new contract, looks like he is enjoying his football - would be gutted to lose him.

Another player that seems to be happily unshackled and enjoying his game

He has been our best player this year in my opinion, an absolute bag of energy in midfield with plenty of quality as well.

Does Tettey not get picked for Norway these days?

I always thought he was a starter, but absolutely delighted he didn't get on the pitch tonight....save the legs for Cardiff.

Saw a few quotes from Alex on Sky Sports

"Overall we are really pleased to have 10 points from five games.

"At the beginning the club said they did not need to sell and they have proven that. I think only two players have left us but the club have also brought in good coverage.

"The aim is still to get promotion and with all the players we have in the squad now, although there are a lot of games, the hope is we can push on.

"You need to have a good group of players, one that is very positive with everybody working towards the same goal. That has shown now and is good for the season ahead."

Really delighted that he didn't go during this window, I think he will be a key player for us. However, he hasn't renewed his contract yet, possibly hanging on to see how things go. I can't believe the club haven't offered him one.

Would be great to see him put pen to paper and like you say, I imagine the club have tried to get that to happen. If we're top or close to top at Christmas, I wouldn't be surprised if he decided to sign a new deal.

Definitely my player of the season. I have always been a big fan of his. Love his attitude and work ethic. He really is showing what he can do now that he isn't being held back by Hughton.

Norwegian midfielder extends stay at Carrow Road.

CITY are delighted to confirm Norwegian international midfielder Alex Tettey has signed a new two-year deal with the Canaries, with an option to extend for a further year.

The 28-year-old has committed himself to the Club until the end of June 2016 (2017 if the option is exercised) after a string of excellent performances in midfield during the City’s impressive start to their Sky Bet Championship campaign.

Absolutely delighted. I said before a ball was kicked that he'd be possibly our most important player this year and it seems to be proving so.

That really is fantastic news.

Every one of the new contracts signed has shown that the players have a lot of faith in Adams and our chances of making a return to the Premier League.

Players like Turner and Tettey would not have signed these contracts if they thought we might be stuck in the Championship.
