Ok, I think we have enough people on here now to get this going again. Beat this if you can

After watching the New Year's Eve fireworks we then watched 3 hours of Fontaines DC videos on YouTube! Didn't play my favourite song though, so here it is:

Of all the bands that started off about the same time I got into my own music I'd never have said Shed Seven would still be around. And probably bigger than they ever have been! Hoping to see them at some point this year. It's been about 5 years.

I've got a signed copy of change giver somewhere at my parents. I can't remember who signed it. A friend gave it to me years ago. She said they were happy to sign it because they were trying to get into her knickers after a gig at I think the arts centre!

If you didn't catch it this morning, have a look at the Vienna New Years Day concert. There was one piece in particular where they did a ballet in a locomotive museum. I'm not normally that taken by ballet, but this was a really great dance.

And of course you can't beat a bit of Strauss to welcome the new year in. :)

Well, they did split up in 2003-I went to their last gig in York-and reformed in 2007 so it’s amazing that they’ve had two number Ine albums in 2024.
I’ve seen them 50 times at least-4 times in 2024-and I only started going to see them in late 1996. I doubt they’d try to get in anyone’s knickers nowadays, probably the other way round

That Nirvana reunion for that fire charity thing last night was insane. So much energy from a bunch of (mainly) oldies.

It's a toss up between them and the who that id go back and see first if they ever invented time travel

I’d like to see Otis Redding, I’ve probably seen everyone else I would want to see.

On my way to joining my vessel in New Orleans last week I had a brief visit to Bourbon street and a jazz / blues bar.

I can’t stand Jazz. Play as many instruments as you can find, all playing different tunes at exactly the same time.
Great!

Yeah not a fan either really, this was probably more " When the Saints go marching in" , Louis Armstrong blues type stuff though.
