Really looking forward to seeing The Fray in Birmingham a week on Saturday. One of my favourite bands ever and not managed to see them live until now.
So, finally saw the Fray a few weeks ago and they were excellent. Thought it might be worth plugging the support band "Raglans" on here, as they were absolutely superb. Best support band I've seen for a long time, nothing like the Fray either so gave the gig a nice eclectic feel.

If anyone has tickets for Royal Blood at the UEA next year and is looking to sell I am very interested - missed out on line on 17th and sold out.

It's hard to say which is the best gig ever, but recent good ones for me are Paolo Nutini at the Brighton Centre this year was awesome. Kasabian at Wembley in 2009 is up there (enjoyed that more than the O2 gig a couple of years later).

And going back in history as Pink Floyd have been mentioned. I can remember seeing them at Walthamstow Poly I think around 1968. Just a hall, 2 or 3 hundred people standing and watching and the Floyd!

saw Jack White at the O2 this week;   no light show, no big screens,   fans respected his request for not watching through eyes not an iphone,   just raw rock music played by talented musicians at the top of their game.  stunning

Went to my first ever pop show in Brighton last night (it's usually metal/punk),and to be fair, Lily Allen knocked it out of the park. Only really went along for the missus but was dead impressed.

Yep I saw she was on and was half tempted. But having been to Kasabian the night before, I thought it could be a " too much of a good thing" scenario.

They are getting some good acts at the Brighton Centre it's worth checking whose on regularly. My next gig there at the moment is Kaiser Chiefs in February.

That of course should be "who is on" not whose.

And we do have an edit button - just need to check at the time!!!

I saw a band called Eureka Machines last Saturday night. They were amazing and may be about to hit the big time

Radiohead at the MEN last year were great, the effort they put into their visuals is superb too.

But I wish I'd seen them 10+ years ago, when the only material they had was stuff from Pablo Honey, The Bends, OK Computer and Kid A, because I've not got too involved with the stuff which has followed.

I'd give Hail To The Thief a proper go. Love that record. Can go either way on In Rainbows and The King of Limbs though.

Been to Neck Deep and Enter Shikari in Norwich in the last month. Both were excellent.
