A useful training game for smith to watch and hopefully take note of what he saw. For me, Rupp is a better midfield player right now than gilmour, who really is not very good. Pukki, yes, he has done a lot over the past years, but needs replacing, we can't keep going on about his history, like the binners do about theirs. Rowe looks to have a future, keep giving him minutes.As said before, Sergent and Rashica have a good understanding..Hopefully Zimmerman and Byram stay injury free, both needed next season. There really are some crap refs in England Note that the socialist Stowmarket two have kept quiet about putin and Ucraine. Still as long as we keep kneeling nicely, there's no problem

Rupp was good last night and deserved his goal. Lees-Melou also had a decent game and Byram was excellent. Sargent did ok after Pukki went off and again got the assist for the goal like he did last time at Anfield. Rowe showed real promise and was unlucky not to score. It did have the feeling of a training game after they went 2-0 down but Rupp's goal livened them up. Here my anti-PinkUn ratings ....
