apparently Grabbon was down in Bournemouth for talks,  City rightly so had to pull the plug when Palarse did the same.   Any deal could have gone onwards for another two hours which I think included the faxing of the details.    There is a lot of talking to be done. I feel with Grabban and Hooper neither of whom seem to want to be here.

I will miss Johnson I just feel we have not got that determination in the engine room now, he did lack a little skill but was a worker a grafter, don't see that now,  He took over the mantel from Holt.   Perhaps ONeill can step up a little now...

Sometimes a player can be an inspiration to his team mates, a thorn in the side of the opposition and big fan favourite without ever being pencilled in when it comes to naming the most talented of players.

Johnson fitted that description. I do get weary with people going on about him not good enough for the Prem yet praising individuals like Mulumbu who we haven't seen play yet and whose Prem club let him go. That isn't bemoaning Mulumbu, it is just the irritation of people still talking about Johnson, 100 Prem appearances for us, as if he shouldn't be allowed to play in the Prem.

I just hope that there is an explanation regarding his sale. It may have nothing to do with the club or its fans. If he wanted it, then good luck to him. If we wanted it, then I hope then new plan works.

I would like to hear from AN and his reason for letting BJ sign for Derby. I hope there are no problems within the camp, they all need to pull together like the team they are. Transfer deadline day should be before a ball has been kicked let's say the last day of July. It would make more sence wouldn't it?

I dont think Alex Neil would allow any vital member of his squad to leave. Look how bullish he has been over Grabban - though a lot of that will be stamping his authority and not losing face, some of it will be not wanting to strengthen a direct competitor - but if we'd let him go and they'd signed Grabban instead of Murray (possibly allowing us to take Gayle) would be we be weaker and would they be stronger for having Grabban rather than Murray? Id argue being left with a player who doesnt want to be here and a problem with the manager leaves us in a weaker position.

The only conclusion I can draw is that BJ simply wasnt wanted. Im really struggling to understand Johnson's comments though - it didnt work out for me at Norwich. If that was coming from RvW Id understand - but our POTS? I suspect this means he was told he wasnt going to be first choice this season and was free to leave and that's what he means. Rings of being told to go to me.

I think BJ (and dont forget he was our vice-captain) was talismanic (agree with other posters who made the comparison with Holt). Selling your POTS surely needs an explanation to the fans

I'm surprised at how much I came to like Bradley Johnson. He always played with a lot of heart and occasionally some skill. His passing and shooting got a LOT better last season. But I think we saw his peak in 14/15 and he's not going to be in that kind of form again. I don't think this will damage team spirit for any length of time, though. His mates have still got his phone number. What matters is the guys who are still in the squad and whether their attitudes are right.

For what is worth I think Howson and Tettey work just as hard. Dorrans looks like he's a grafter too.

I'll always love the guy for what he did for our club mate and yes, I'd take him back in a heartbeat.

AN, at the moment has not yet matched his man management skills imo.

Similar. No idea if its true or not, but it certainly fits. None of us saw the Bradley transfer coming, and most have struggled to get their heads completely round it.

For instance, I would put Bradley ahead of Oneill in the pecking order.

I highly doubt it's true though, it couldn't possibly happen this often at one club.

This does feel like a picture painted by somebody that wants Lewis Grabban's Norwich City career to continue. Sounds less unreasonable than some of the other gossip magazine stories to have come out of Carra over the years mind.

Ashton and Shackell are obviously so closeted that they've gone off and gotten wives and had kids to maintain their cover.

Boys will be boys but its something that quickly kills team spirit. Never easy with popular players but in retrospect they may have acted wisely.
