Happy. Am I guilty?

Good afternoon..I am almost 70, NCFC member and supporting NCFC for many years. I live now in Romania...... As we were relegated, I no longer have streams to watch.  I rely on live texts and reports from others of what the game was like, only being able to take in games home and away every January........After seeing your reports, markings and Andys you tube link, thanks for that. I feel good....Some good play, team performed well,good goals and the wine went down well........What's the problem?  I feel dirty with being happy that our team won..Different sites that I read,[ it:s the only way that I can get information.]..have world beating coaches,managers and master tacticians and statistical experts commenting, screaming pure hatred and derision to all and sundry.........Why is it that when we get a 3-0 win against a 10 man Watford, we were lucky, not good enough to beat them on a normal day, lucky goals, Grabban deflection, Johnno didn:t mean to chip etc..When we lost as a 10 man team to Wolves, we were really crap,lucky to only lose by one....To be honest, I don"t feel guilty or dirty. I feel really happy. A good win ,a good display, good goals..I don"t have so many years left now to enjoy all the ups and downs/ Norwich City are my team I suuport them, now from afar...... Sorry to be long winded and many thanks for all your postings,helps me see the full picture

Yes, very good Gerry. As a City supporter for over 40 years, I sometimes get frustrated by the negative comments from certain fans. This Board is a refreshing change in that regard - supporters, not detractors. Wolves were not lucky to beat us after we had a man sent off, but we were lucky to beat Watford after they had a man sent off. It's very strange. But on the other hand, it's great to know we have a fan deep in the heart of Romania. Keep in touch.

Molly W  I don't thik that too many on this site would enjoy Romanian football. It is total cabbage. Sure there are some good players, but in general, blindfolds and whisky help

Saturday night was a very happy night in my old City den.............and that hasn't happened for a long long time!

I was over the moon with Saturday I thought everyone had a decent game, we were solid at the back looked much better going forward.  the bigger test will be Tuesday against a decent Blackburn team.

I only disagree with view points from people who wear rose tinted specs, and I will continue to give my opinion and call out ones I don't agree with.

I feel good after Saturday. I think we were very good, bordering on excellent at times. Were we lucky? I don't think so.

However, I also think we were very poor against Wolves. I said it on another thread, I still don't know which is the real City for 2014/15? Hopefully more answers tomorrow night, but if the football is as good as Saturday, I'll be happy.

First of all a very warm welcome. Can't say as I know a great deal about Romania but not surprised to hear their football isn't among Europe's best.

I think we've been conditioned over the last few years to prepare and deal with negativity and feeling incredibly down on a Saturday night. The Premier League is where you want to be, but I love Championship football and the excitement of it. I also love the frequent Tuesday matches!

So after the 2-3 years we have had, enjoy every single goal, every single win and it's great that most members on here are willing to be positive when the team gives us a reason to be.

I'm not hot headed but if someone says something I disagree with I'm not gonna be all sweetness and like and agree with it, I'm gonna call them on it like I would expect people to call me out on things they agree with.

I think as Norwich are technically my second team I can look at things on a more neutral note and unbiased.

I do not think this board is a refreshing change. More like they need to change.

They are happy with mediocrity. Probably why they sat and watched Hopeless Hugh

take us down and then reverted to being happy in championship.

We are now watching players leave and be replaced by freebies and oldies nobody 

else will pay over the top wages for. Last minute loans will complete the lack of ambition.

Happy to beat a 10 men team. Yes. I will be happier to beat an 11 man blackburn team 

tomorrow and and get an away win at weekend.
