Hopefully a quieter, more sedate game in prospect, not sure I could take another game like that one the other night!

Will be an interesting presser, I don't think anyone is due back from injury, hopefully there are no more casualties, because this is just getting ridiculous.

Emi gets himself a day off, and lets hope Teemu's hamstring niggle didn't come to anything. Assuming Sam Mcallum won't be able to play for Coventry.

Krul out for 3 weeks.

Pukki hamstring injury, will miss next two games.

Stiepermann okay, no concussion.

so what are we thinking, Placheta up top, or give a youngster the go, would say Placheta but with Emi suspended he might be needed to play wide, no idea how to even predict a line up right now

I reckon he could play Stieperman up front.

not a bad idea actually, would certainly be a bit more of a physical presence, I see Farke saying Drmic would be possible but he's been in Switzerland so would have to isolate on his return, no idea why he wasn't asked to come back when Hugill and Idah were both ruled out

this is the best I can do

Steipermann
Placheta Vrancic Martin
Skipp Tettey
Sorensen Gibson Hanley Aarons
McGovern
subs - Barden, Zimmermann, Rupp, youth, youth, youth, youth, youth, youth

Is Rupp out? I can't keep up!

i think he's fit, not 100% certain as he was an unused sub on tuesday, I'd imagine the midfield will be two of Skipp/Tettey/Rupp, not sure which one misses out

Maybe Tettey for first hoiur, to stop Rupp from doing too much. Can't see Coventry, playing a load of in your face giants, so could be one that Tettey has an easier job to manage. Striker? I think Mr Holt has still got his boots sharpened, so a quick free transfer deal ? :D:D

Is Mo Leitner available, I don't know if he needs to be registered or not, but surely now is the time to bring him back in if we can?

free agents, I'm sure a couple of these can do a job for us on a one month contract, who doesn't want a front three of Balotelli-Mandzukic-Pato in the championship

Stiepermann definitely offers a physical presence and probably more Pukki-esque link-up play. But Placheta would be better in terms of using his pace to return in-behind. I'd probably go with the team DJ names above.

These injuries are so fucking frustrating man, so sick of it. We actually have a kinder run of fixtures for the first time in a while, yet with the amount of absentees we have it feels like it's gonna be a case of damage control, until we at least have a fit striker.

I know that Pukki and Hugill aren't long-term absentees, but you'd have to think if our injuries to attacking players gets any worse then we'd look into recalling Sinani, who can play supposedly play as a number 9 and has been doing very good on international duty and on loan.

I feel like whenever similar situations come up, it turns out that there is no recall clause.

pretty sure you can't recall players from loan outside a transfer window, so would have to wait until january for that anyway, by that point Pukki and Hugill should both be back, i'd hope
