We have the squad we can afford at this level, and absolutely nothing can change that right now, I doubt we'll do much business in January, so we have what we have. Now you have to decide, are these players genuinely good enough? Everyone was praising our transfer strategy a few months ago, but now saying we're not good enough, so which is it?
Webber is a qualified coach, he isn't stupid, so if he genuinely thinks that a different manager could get more out of this group of players then fair enough. But changing the manager, just because it is actually the only thing you can do, without genuine confidence that it will improve things, is just daft. I stand by my opinion that it will make very little difference.
