For me:

Rudd

Whittaker Cuellar Miquel Garrido

Bennett O'Neil VOO Murphy

Loza Lafferty

Subs: Bunn, McFadden, Howson, McGeehan, McGrandles, Jacob Murphy, Hooper.

And then I'd try and give Howson and Hooper half an hour each assuming they're both fit enough. I think Loza deserves to start though after he scored a hat-trick for the under 21's on Friday.

It'll be good to see what Odjidja-Ofoe can do. And maybe if he's good enough we might see him come in for Bradley Johnson, who I didn't think was great against Birmingham.

Hard to predict the outcome of games like this, but we should be winning this even though we'll probably change the whole team. Gonna go with 3-1 Norwich.

I'd go with exact same team as you Din, except I'd start Hooper over Loza if he can manage an hour. Think he played 60 minutes for the U21s this past week, I'd be bringing on Loza for the last half an hour.

Lafferty Hooper

Ruddy, McFadden, Loza, Howson, Murphy, McGrandles, Hall-Johnson

Important for Hooper and Howson get some minutes in this match.

Looking forward to seeing a stadium I've never been to and seeing who is really pressing for a place in the League line-up. Particularly excited to see VOO have a full game after his cameo at Brentford - will be fascinating to see if he plays a holding role or the more advanced Wessi position.

Very excited, first game of the season for me and I can't wait, The league cup has not been kind to me in the past so I'm hoping for a good game, I certainly think we'll see Hooper and Howson, here's my line up...

                          Rudd

Whittaker   Hooiveld   Miquel   Garrido

                    Ofoe   O'Neil

         Lafferty   Howson   Murphy

                         Hooper

Interesting, I would go for less changes, because if we change almost the whole team there will be no team pattern if any plus I want to win a Cup this season and get automatic promotion...... and start with Hooper and make sure Howson gets the second half as sub, something like....

                                Rudd,

Whittaker    Turner or Hooiveld   Martin   Garrido

E.Bennett or Lafferty    Johnson   Odjidja-Ofoe  Redmond or Murphy

                          Hooper  Jerome

You can see I am undecided though and why I tend not to go in for team predictions, its still around six charges.........that said, I would go for a strong team like this in the hope we could notch our goals in the first half for a change.....and then make the necessary subs

According to the ticket office it will be £12 on the gate, or you can buy one for collection at Shrewsbury if you can't get to the city ticket office today.

I've bought one & am going to trek over - first game for me since Wolves so here's hoping it's better...

Surely Hooper and Howson will both start and play a big chunk of the 90, at least.

Don't call me Shirley...

Agree tho.  If they're fit enough to play they must start.

Interesting calls for me are who is in goal... Rudd or Bunn ?  I'd give Rudd another go.

In defence we have an alternative back 4 of players who would all want to be in the starting line up so I'd be surprised if that's not what we get.

Midfield we have great choices available, again players like O'Neill and Odidja who'll fancy they could break into the starting lineup.  It says something when a player like McGrandles might not even get to start tonight.

Upfront it would make sense to have Hooper, I guess the question is whether we go 2 up front as he's not good on his own, or do we rely on having 5 in midfield and getting a lot of players forward.

Personally I'm really looking forward to seeing a lot of these players in the flesh for the first time.

Rudd

Whittaker Cuellar Miquel Garrido

O'Neill Odjidja-Ofoe

E.Bennett Howson Lafferty

Hooper

Ruddy, McFadden, Hall-Johnson, McGrandles, Jo Murphy, Ja Murphy, Loza.

Thats one hell of a squad and that 18 includes only 1 player who started vs Birmingham.

Yeah, works for me.

What can we call Odjidja-Ofoe for short? Will my iPhone learn to auto correct his name eventually?

Adams has confirmed that both Howson and Hooper will start today. He also said VOO will play.

Glad about Howson and Hooper both starting, I'd like to see VOO and Miquel both start as well as I think they will both be in the starting 11 by the end of the season. Very Similar to every one else really with my starting 11 below but maybe a slightly more attacking line up with only 1 DM (so a 4-1-4-1 without the ball and 4-1-2-3 with the ball): -

                       Rudd

  Whits - Cuellar - Miquel - Garrido

                       O'Neil

 E.Benny - Howson - VOO - Murphy

                      Hooper

E. Bennett IMO needs to start as his form is pretty low at the moment and could do with a full game to start hopefully getting that back.

OMG I am in the minority of .....one.....in going for not having a completely different starting eleven tonight.....clearly I have been an ex-pat to long (don't answer that).......

I think most posters are on the same sheet. I hope there are changes as Saturday's game will be an ideal opportunity for anyone feeling a knock or papering the landing or something else, to maybe take a break.

We have a big squad and I am not sure if every position has its automatic first choice. Some do but with others returning to or achieving fitness, I do believe there is a massive incentive for at least four players to make their mark tonight.
