Hi everyone, you might all remember me from my previous articles, I'm back with a new in-depth look at a (not so) old shirt - this time about the shirt with Poppy Cameron Jerome wore two seasons ago. Very topical what with Remembrance Day being today. Figured it'd make for an interesting read for everyone, so do give it a look;

Ohohoho, those two are brilliant! I adore Errea but would have loved to see how Xara would have continued had we not torn up the contract.

This is my collection as it stands - only the Poppy, the white egg 'n cress (Tettey), the FlyBe top (Jurgen Colin), and the old 1999-2001 shirt (Darren Kenton) are matchworn;

Just went and fished all mine out, all just replicas. The signed one in the bottom photo is my newest, I bid on it in a charity auction. I have all sorts of other stuff like shorts and training tops too, the club official Ebay is a good place to visit at the end of the season / changing of kit! I'm thinking I spend WAY too much money on this!

Money very well-spent, I'd say! The club eBay is where I got my kits for the last two seasons - I have unreasonable beef with betting sponsors so I got the U23 team's matchworn shirts with Langley School as sponsor instead of adult replicas - looking forward to getting this year's kit without Dafabet on it.

At least a large lol. But I have promised myself I am not buying any more shirts

Also when you back to the older shirts, they are horrible to wear! I rarely wear my older ones, apart from the Norwich and Peterborough Mitre one, which seemed to be better quality.

The Errea shirts are superior in fit and comfort over the old stuff for sure (although Ribero is quite alright) - possibly a holdover from how tops weren't quite as commercialized back then and how players always seemed to go for XXXXL sizes.

The theory is better than the reality of a lot of the older shirts. And although I loved that green one at the time, they really haven't aged well! Good price for that though!
