It is strange in my view that there has been so much discussion of the pitch invasion and little if the events in the North Stand.

No one tried to hurt anyone in the pitch invasion. In the upper tier of thevNoorthbStand, WBA supporters ripped up seats and threw them on the Villa fans below. I've not seen reports of any casualties but it's not for the want of trying.

I think pitch invasions are childish at best and mindless at worse. I don't understand why anyone wants to run aimlessly around a football pitch however exciting the occasion. But that's me.

I do not welcome a return to violence and hooliganism as seen in the North Stand
