Formation Vs Brentford & Birmingham.

What sort of formation did we play vs Brentford ? Was it a 442 with Wes on the left ? Was it a diamond ? Or did we play the 4321 with Grabban or Jerome out wide.

With it looking like Wes will miss the Birmingham game do you think we would go 442 and put Murphy or Lafferty out wide.

I got the impression it was a 4-2-3-1 with Jerome up front and Wes in the hole with Grabban on the right and Redmond on the left. If Wes doesn't play, it's possible Odjidja could replace him in the hole. Alternatively a 4-4-2 could see Grabban and Jerome up front and Redmond and either Lafferty, Elliot Bennett or Josh Murphy on the flanks. Another alternative would be a 4-3-3 with Grabban, Jerome and Lafferty up front and Odjidja joining Tettey and Johnson in midfield. Lots of options.

I wasn't there so can't say, but I think we started with 4-4-2, with Wes on the left, but switched to 4-2-3-1 in the second half.
