If you could take one player from a Championship rival for each position, who would you choose?

GK - Quite a few top keepers, Gomes, Marshall, Boruc, Westwood, Kiraly, Federici, but Id probably take Paul Robinson

RB - Byram

LB - ?Maybe Figeroa

CB - No notable suggestion

CB - No notable suggestion

RW - Adomah / Drenthe?

CM - Hughes

CM - Bryson / Maloney

LW - McManaman

CF - Deeney

CF - Rhodes

Plenty of alternatives. Who would be your choice?

CB - No notable suggestion

Grant Hanley of Blackburn is a very good centre back. Anthony Gerrard (Steven's cousin) at Huddersfield is also a very good player in this position, but he is said to have a bad attitude (or at least, has fallen out with several managers including his current one!). 

Can't be bothered to do one for each position, but I think Callum Wilson, Matt Ritchie and Ross McCormack are all very good players. I'm with Morty though, if we were to sign just one player in January I'd want it to be a left winger / left sided midfielder.

Grant Hanley was the only one that came to my mind, purely because he plays for Scotland. Cant think of too many CBs at rivals Id desperately want.

Bassong on his game and playing consistently should be the stand out CB in this division.

We have a few of those.

Ruddy on top form should be the best keeper in the division (similar to when we still had Green following relegation from the Prem last time). Olsson is surely the top left-back. Hooper has the potential to top the scoring charts when firing on all cylindars. Redmond should be the best winger, and Wes amongst the top attacking midfielders - though the Wigan boys would give Redders and Wes a run for their money
