If they got it early, he's got an excellent chance of making a full recovery. A friend of mine in his 20s had the same thing last year – he's now back to full health and you'd never guess he'd been through it. I'm sure Jonas' healthy lifestyle and level of fitness will help him beat it!

Testicular cancer has a really high survival rate, probably the highest of all cancers I think, but it depends whether it spreads before it is caught. Can spread to other areas of the body and then it becomes much more serious.
It says he had his left testicle removed, but is now having chemo? Suggests it may have spread, as if it is confined to your testicle and you have it removed - then that would be the end of the issue wouldn't it? All fingers crossed for the man.

I got worried about one of my testicles quite recently, and was ignoring it for ages. In the end I had a nurse have a good grope and tell me that there was nothing unusual, took about 30 seconds of very minor embarresement to end months of worry which I wouldn't admit to.
Felt like an idiot for not getting a professional opinion earlier, I don't know what it is about many men and our reluctance to ever go to a doctor, but well worth just getting a nurse to have a little play if anybody ever has any doubts!

If you're worried about a problem, whatever it is, always go and get it checked out. It may be embarrassing for you, but health professionals really dont care, its just another problem and another patient to them. The only person embarrassed is you as the patient, and its all over and done with quickly and you'll have an answer - either reassurance or the problem being addressed
