Was a pro-footballer until he was 23 and did a year in the German 4th tier at one point, was in the Leeds youth team when they had that great side with Ian Harte and Gary Kelly etc but got sacked when he was 18 when he was caught playing for a local non-league side with a fake name because he needed the £50 a game 
Was also a fitness coach at Bolton under Gary Megson who he said really knew his stuff, and worked for Neil Warnock who he said is completely tactically clueless but has something magic about him which makes everyone feel like they've got a point to prove all the time.
He knew Paul Heckingbottom quite well and was amazed that he made a living as a footballer, which made me instantly realise that this bloke knew what he was talking about because I wondered that when he was at Norwich too. Ended up charging me £40 less than he quoted because he got to talk about football for 3 hours.
Also said something about being beaten up in an incident relating to Darren Huckerby when he was at Leeds and having to escape by climbing on top of a bus shelter, no idea what he was on about with that one (should have pressed him there!).
Leeds fan and I asked him if he goes to games and he said "just the home ones, don't go to away games because I hate Leeds fans they are all idiots"
Was nice to have an opposing fan bring up Dean Ashton and talk about how good he was instead of me having to preach it to them.
He had a lot to say about German football and I told him how we had a centre back from the German 4th tier who is making it in the Championship and one from Bundesliga 2 who flopped, and he wasn't all that surprised.... because its all zonal marking and less physical in Germany, so Franke just probably couldn't adjust to a completely different game. The electrician loved zonal marking in Germany because he could shoot from range and reckons that means you get a lot more chances from distance.
All of the above is going to look like BS without naming him, but that would make me look like a saddo if he googles his own name!
