I'm a fan of Lafferty and I would like to see him in the team but I don't see why scoring goals for NI puts him in the Norwich team.
I know people will say he'll be full of confidence etc.
How does it work saying to Grabban/Jerome "I know you've scored goals for us but even though Kyle hasn't scored for us he has scored for NI so he's in the team ahead of you now" ?
But then maybe he wouldn't be playing as a forward/striker so it's a different issue.

Hopefully he'll get a start on Saturday. I personally would drop Grabban and bring him in and revert back to 4-2-3-1, with Jerome up top and Lafferty on the left, Wes in the middle.

Easy decision. Grabban Out, Lafferty in. Grabban's form has dropped significantly lately, and he's become rather wasteful.

Having started this thread, I feel a need to qualify it slightly. I suggested that Lafferty should get a chance 'soon' rather than immediately. Grabban and Jerome both have the same shots per game number of chances. IMO, Jerome is currently city's best option up front. Lafferty has played twice during the international break, scoring late in both of those. I'd start with Jerome, Grabban and Redmond against Fulham, with Wes in the hole. Lafferty is an ideal impact sub to come on against tiring defenders. A mid-week start to give Grabban a rest might be preferred. As for Lafferty playing out of position, that is more difficult. He played on the left for Palermo, and his ability to track back is excellent, which is less true of Grabban. It's a tough decision for Neil.
