Had to return my ticket for this unfortunately, was meant to be back at work on Monday, but going in a few hours instead. Pity, as I reckon it would have been good fun!

Just our luck, they waved Sunderland through on Wednesday and now Martinez is gone it's their last home of the season and they will undoubtedly be trying harder than they have for all season.

strange one today, both sides with nothing to play for essentially, although they are going to want to prove a point after Martinez's sacking, and we'll want to go down with a bit of pride, be interesting to see the lineup today, see if we make some changes and give some players a go with next season in mind, good chance to see what some of the younger players have, although Im not if many of our better youngsters can play as they've been out on loan and I'm not sure if they're back at the club yet (Murphy's, Maddison, Toffolo etc.)

this is what I'd go for though

Ruddy

Pinto Bennett Martin Olsson

Dorrans O'Neil

Redmond Wes Brady

Jerome

I wouldn't be opposed to giving Vadis or Mulumbu a game, also I'd play Redmond despite me being pretty convinced he'll be off in the next couple of months, but only because he was excellent against Watford, also surely Jerome should start as he is our only striker that is actually contracted to be here next season

Are we going to drop Martin after his costly errors against Watford?

Afterall, Bassong got dropped for 1 mistake.

Think I'll watch this as it's an excuse to go to the pub, but I don't really care too much what the outcome is, that said I'd prefer not to see us embarrass ourselves.

Hopefully it'll be a good game at least and it'd be nice to see us pick up the 3 points. Guaranteed the Everton will be reinvigorated after sacking Martinez. Think we'll probably see the same side that beat Watford.

I have to admit the battle for second place between Spurs and Arsenal and which Manchester team gets the Champions League spot is more interesting for me than a meaningless kick-around between two teams who just want this season to end.

Surprised we haven't experimented a bit today and given a game to Andreu / Vadis / Mulumbu etc.

What thanks is that to the players that have grafted all season?

As is our manager.
I agree but it's not what most people want to accept. I predict a bunch of second rate signings and a mid table finish for next season if we stick with him.

Meanwhile 10 man Newcastle are 5-1 up at a Spurs. We're screwed next season.

Lambert and Hughton kept lesser Norwich squads in the Prem.

Too many excuses for AN.

Lambert was an exceptional manager, and Hughton's team was better than this one.

Neil has made mistakes, but I'm sorry to say he's a shambles is just wrong. What's he supposed to do when the majority of his squad aren't Premier League standard?

How do you two cope if you get a bit too much sugar in your tea ? ?

Ok so some of the players aren't Prem quality.

But a lot about this season suggests the manager isn't either.
