Uh oh, Cantwell and Aarons called up for U21's again, but not Godfrey. Surely not another CB injured....

from the press conference

Fahrmann and Krul both out, McGovern will play, youngster Archie Mair likely to be the GK option on the bench
Grant Hanley is unavailable with a groin injury
Sam Byram has been struggling with an injury but will be in the squad
Todd Cantwell is a slight doubt with a hamstring issue, and will be monitored
Jamal Lewis is available, just a ligament issue in his elbow not a break
Ben Godfrey will have a hernia op during the international break, but will play tomorrow as there are no other options, should only be a few days not weeks out for him, could be back for the Bournemouth game (first game after the break)
Onel Hernandez is not far away from team training now

Yeah I'd go with the team above. McGovern ffs.

Regardless though I do definitely think we can win this game. Villa really aren't very good and to lose this game at home would be a really poor result. Really can't be arsed for my Villa supporting mate to be gloating all the way through the international break, so at least a point please lads. OTBC

Said to a mate yesterday we might win this but equally they could put a few past us. Premier League life for us.

We’re starting to look like a team that’s got 9 players out injured
