100% agree. There needs to be discipline, and players need to put the effort in. It is bad for morale if a player just coasts, and still expects to get in the team. We used to have a bit of a reputation of being Costa del Colney.

Although not in football, I have been in that situation. Most establishments have protocols in place that must be followed. This may involve suspension or temporary transfer to another department. The first thing to find out is how the issue is affecting that individual and their performance and attempt to help/support them. If that person is convinced they are in the right and that nothing you say/do will convince them otherwise there's not a lot you can do. You have to decide if their continued presence within the team is right for both parties. If that person has made their problem known to the rest of the team their views also have to be taken into consideration. If the situation cannot be resolved amicably via offering help/support and discussion etc then the most likely outcome is that the person will be transferred out of the team. Obviously football is different in that players are often more valuable to their employers than the team manager. Re Cantwell .... most people seem to be assuming it's Farke who is the problem but the real issue may be Cantwell's attitude.
