Totally deserved victory in the end. Thought the ref was pretty decent overall. Onwards and upwards for Forson now hopefully, but he definitely needs bulking up so long as it does not impinge on his speed and ballance.

Really? I thought the ref was dreadful! Overly officious and really slowed the pace of the game on occasions. There should have been a few more cards for some really persistent fouling on our players. The time wasting, from minute one, by their keeper was nonsensical, and I don't think the ref even talked to him.

I barely noticed Gordon when he came on.

For me, Onel is the most effective he has ever been, his assist for the second goal was fantastic.
Definitely one of his better spells for us. He was great in 18/19 and was, for me, one of the best performers we had in the hugely disappointing 19/20 Premier League campaign.
His end product is frustrating but this year I don't think he has overdone it, keeping it simpler.... for Onel anyway. 3 assists in 15 this year, mostly from the bench. Who would wish to try and mark him? He receives the ball really well and still has a turn of speed.

Amazing that he arrived 7 years ago now, quite a long time to be attached to a club. A survivor... (think he came around the same time as BB Kenny McLean) but he always carries a threat and he has this ability to change the dynamic of a game and is why managers use him.

It feels like he has been given a slightly different role. When deployed as an out and out, chalk on your boots, get to the byline winger, he was never brilliant, hence him never really having long runs in the team. In recent games though he has drifted a little bit more centrally and run the channels very effectively. He is as strong as an ox and I absolutely loved his bullying to set up the second goal.

I have to say kudos to him for his longevity at the club too, I bet there are previous managers that have questioned his position and wanted him sold.

I was thinking about the goalkeepers wasting time, and would there be any reason for Carrow Road not to put up a big countdown of six seconds on the big screens whenever the goalkeeper gets hold of the ball for a goal kick? I can't imagine there can be a rule against it, and it wouldn't half show up the referees for their poor enforcement of this rule.

Is there even still a rule for how long the keeper can keep hold of the ball? I'm not even sure. I mean I know we all look at games with our green and yellow glasses but the old act of the keeper appearing confused as to where the ball is, and ambling around aimlessly until someone throws it at him, is downright embarrassing. I'm not even sure, under similar circumstances if I'd be happy with Gunn doing it.

And nice stats here. Amazingly Onel was involved in each one of these 3 games.

Only one in stoppage time.

Off the top my head, I head think was Ashton 81, McKenzie 89 and Drury 92.
I stayed to the end for that one! In fact, for a very, very long time the only time I left a game early was the infamous Colchester one. I said to the kids "If this gets to 7, we're going!"

I was on holiday. Not sure if I'm glad I missed it, or disappointed to have missed such an historic moment.
When I talk about it now, I don't even remember it all, it became like an out of body experience.

I can still see Theo Clitoris watching the ball casually fly over his head :p

I was in France watching updates in disbelief.

I guess it's the same for every Norwich fan...where we you when....?

And everyone knows where they were.
