The games keep coming thick and fast!

I wonder if Farke will maybe make a change to one of the youngsters, to reduce the load, thinking maybe Cantwell?

There’s a case for getting Vrancic into the team, problem is how you do that ?

I think we only change the XI when we perform poorly at the minute to be honest.

Pukki loses his place when he has a stinker, Stiepermann loses his place when he has a stinker.

Its suddenly feeling a little bit like the Lambert era isn't it, with people chomping at the bit to get their chance and it finally feels like we've got a 'squad' rather than a team plus a bunch of deadwood.

Hanley may have some work to do to get back into this side if this form continues!

Would we bring in Passlack or Pinto for Aarons?

Pinto.

Not that I think Pinto is that amazing. Considering he has been a popular replacement for the much-maligned Steven Whittaker I would suggest that the reality is that Pinto neither defends better nor produces more in the final third.

Henandez back in training, tomorrow too early for him though, more likely Stoke. Concern over lack of progress in Mclean's injury.

Yeah wouldn't surprise me if Pinto comes in for Aarons, or Vrancic in for Cantwell. Both of them struggled against Wigan and with 3 games in a week it's a big ask for two such inexperienced players after having such a big load already this season. Wouldn't be at all unhappy to see both of them start again though.

It actually feels nice going into a game with one of the promotion favourites without fearing the worst. I'm actually probably more confident that we can get a result here than I was about the Wigan game. Ultimately we're above Frank Lampard's Derby in the league and are joint top of the form table, and with Frank Lampard's Derby being quite inconsistent, I don't doubt we can get a result here.

I say that but this is going to be a tough game. A draw here going into a winnable home game against Stoke before the international break would not be a bad result at all.

Let's not forget that Lampard for all the brilliant player that he was, is more of a rookie manager than DF so imo there's every chance of getting a result against them. OTBC.

I've actually got a feeling he'll change things quite a bit for tonight.

Its a tough game isn't it because if he keeps the side unchanged and we look fatigued lose people will say "why isn't we using the squad", and if we change the side and lose people will say "why on earth did he change things".

But we probably do need to be wary of overplaying Cantwell, Aarons and even Lewis.

Pinto at right back, Rhodes at the top and Pukki dropping back to replace Cantwell as an attacking midfielder perhaps? Then Hernandez off the bench if we don't look like penetrating?

Or possibly even Thompson/Godfrey/Passlack at right back, Pinto at left back and Pukki in the attacking midfielder role to give all three of the youngsters a rest?

Good game, both sides playing good, passing football which is always nice. We started stronger and worried Derby a bit but they finished the half the stronger. We probably should be 1-0 up though, glorious chance for Cantwell and he should've done better. All in all though we're playing well. God knows what Alex Neil was talking about when he said Tettey couldn't play 3 games in a week, he's been fantastic so far.

In Vrancic and Rhodes we have some good attacking options to come off the bench, so let's hope we can nick a goal 2nd half! A point though wouldn't be a bad result at all, Derby are a good side and have looked it so far. But so have we.

Really disappointing we couldn't hold on for the win, particularly as in the words of Steve McLaren, their equaliser wasn't a 'proper goal'. Also they almost certainly should've been down to 10 men, when Bogle wasn't given a 2nd yellow for a really late challenge on Leitner. 9 times out of 10 that's a red card.

All in all a point away at one of the supposed promotion favourites is not a bad result at all. Frustrating though given we were only 5 minutes away from all 3. If I did have a criticism then Farke probably should've made the subs earlier. Pukki was clearly done by the 75th minute, and I probably would've bought Trybull on at some point. We do seem to have a habit of sitting far too deep as well when seeing out a lead.

Tettey and Leitner both outstanding today, and all the squad got through so much work, can't fault any of them really. Good performance, good away point, still in the top 6 and a win at home to Stoke on Saturday would put us in a fantastic position going into the international break.

We looked absolutely shattered towards the end though, Farke is going to have to rotate a bit now.

Stiepermann, Pukki and Tettey looked very tired towards the end.

We were the better side but to be honest the number of clear cut chances was pretty equal, a couple each, and that's what it boils down to really.... could really have done with Hernandez's pace towards the end.

Yes they scored a fluke, but that Mount chance was a goal 8 times out of 10 so swings and roundabouts.

Desperately need McLean back fit really because we look a bit short of options in the attacking midfield.

Don't think it would do any harm to use Pukki off the bench for the next fixture, and we need to hope that Trybull, Thompson or Godfrey can fill Tettey's shoes so he can take time out now and again.

A great run but still got some underlying issues, like relying on an ageing Tettey every week at the moment.... hopefully Thompson staying fit gives us another option and he can step up this season.

Still a good point, but as has been said we need to rotate or injuries will occur. OTBC.

Tettey is only 32.

A 32 year old who has had a lot of injuries.

I mean.... Martin, Turner, Holt and Huckerby were all shot by 32... Tettey needs to be managed. Wes was a freak.

I felt the subs should have happened earlier. Derby were making subs and the game was changing. Some of our players looked tired out and weren't affecting the game in a positive way for us.
