It would be nice to back up yesterdays win with another one. I think Kenny available, which has to be a positive.

QPR actually in decent form just now.

We haven't exactly been inspiring.

Hopefully shooting towards the Barclay will improve matters...

Too much turkey for a lot of our guys this game. Greedy by Borja there!

Thankfully, that's the last game for Norwich City this year. At least Cramc scored, although the poor sod didn't know any thing about it. Seems like every team, except for Norwich can defend free kicks and corners, mind you, our kicks and corners are crap. See you here next year

I'm going to be a bit critical here, because things really aren't ticking just now. Borja Sainz, yes he somehow scored all those goals, but as a winger, I really don't feel he is very effective. Am not sure why the goals have dried up, maybe he has been given a more rigid role, I'm not sure, but he isn't at his best at all.

Our midfield really isn't performing. When was the last time we actually played a ball centrally, onto a player pushing forward from midfield? We seem to endlessly push the ball wide to players, that on the whole, don't really do a good job of testing full backs. We lack a dominant player centrally, and not playing (or at least starting) with a number 10 means, more often than not, the striker looks very isolated. We can get away with it when Josh is playing, as he has boundless energy to drop deep, but it all looks a bit disconnected when he isn't there.

I haven't looked at the stats, but I don't think we really tested their keeper much.

I can't stand this new retrospective action thing which appears to have been taken up a notch recently, particularly if the player has a yellow shirt.

It used to be that the ref used to have to write it in their report, e.g. "Several players claimed a spitting incident, but I did not see anything" then it would be looked into.

Now it seems that a group of annoying refs who would be traffic wardens if football didn't exist take it upon themselves to study every minute of every frame to find something wrong.

It's like Var. The phrase that seemed to be used most when I was first brought in was 'clear and obvious error' that has turned into spend 5 minutes analysing every decision.

Get rid of all cameras at games. Accept the ref might make a mistake now and again and just enjoy it.

Two average championship teams
Exactly how I felt. Sloppy play, missed chances, no players really standing out from us and them. Felt very much like midtable vs midtable.. Which I do guess is kind of how it is.

QPR seemed to be very well organised and played a very tight defensive game not allowing us any space and then playing the odd quick breaks through our weak middle and then taking advantage of our set piece woes. We just don’t seem to have the skills to adapt our game very quickly and clearly something wrong in organisation in set piece defending - we certainly looked more effective once Onel got to his correct position and we effectively had 3 CBs at the back - if that change had occurred 10min we might just of got a second.

We won a game a few years ago with no shots on target. I want to say Brighton but I could be completely wrong!
