Is this the quietest thread ever after a win?

great team performance, Tettey, Johnson, Grabban and Bassong all superb, top 6 now, lets keep pushing forward
The threads have got quieter since Wiziwig died, people quite rightly don't feel qualified to share an opinion if they are listening on the radio. Also home game threads are always quieter, a lot of posters at the game and then in the city for beers.

I would go as far as to say that that was the best defensive performance I've seen all season. Olsson and Whittaker were a little poor at times particularly in the first half, but Bassong and Martin were absolutely terrific, and the general structure of our team today was superb. We were very disciplined with the shape of the team, and Tettey and Johnson in midfield were a big reason as to why we won. Tettey was my MOTM personally, with Johnson and Bassong just behind. Thought Wolves were ok, and there was a spell at the start of the second half where they looked threatening, but once we got the 2nd goal it killed the game off and we walked to victory in the end. We didn't create loads today but we took our chances when they came which is something we now seem to be doing under Alex Neil.

Brilliant to be back into the top 6 now, and if we can really push on from this then there's no reason why we can't actually challenge for the top 2. Really liking the way we're going under Alex Neil and now it's vital that we keep up this good form going into our 3 games in 8 days (including that massive one against the scum). Watford next week is going to be very difficult, especially as they seem to be scoring for fun right now. However if we can defend how we did today then there's a good chance we will at least get a point.

Same here. It's very easy to just say 'well Wolves were really poor'.  Yes, but they were poor because our defence didn't give them an inch.

The overall dominance we excerted, over the whole 90 minutes was a joy to watch.

Wolves are a good side, who were, before today, above us in the form table, and we made them look pretty ordinary.

Derby play Rotherham away on Tuesday for their game in hand, Middlesbrough play Birmingham away on Wednesday for their game in hand.

Would be handy if one, or both, could drop some points.

They would have gone above us with a win today too, so this was a very important win in terms of establishing ourselves in the top 6.

This was certainly a much better all round performance than Charlton, but as we enter the final 15 games, the margins become very tight indeed. The next two away games will be a test, as will the home game against the binners. At least we have our play-off destiny in our own hands now and that is a big plus and the same pressures will apply to the teams above us in this crunch section of the season. The Watford game in particular is huge now, and we'll have a much better idea after that.

Think this game to Wolves is what Brentford was for us a few weeks back. The opportunity to leapfrog the team directly above you, but devastating to morale to lose it. We reacted positively to the Brentford setback. Wolves will need to do the same, lets hope they dont manage it!

It's great to be back in the top 6 at last with an overall good performance by all accounts, against another team that could've been in the top 6 if they'd won it.

And with 15 games to go, a 6 point gap to the top isn't much really.  It's all about which teams kick on from here from those who are in the frame.

I'M trying to keep from getting carried away and will settle for being in the play-off places. The next 3 games will tell us if anything else might be possible. OTBC!

Fickle old game being a football supporter. Things is, we are never wrong. Even when things go against us we saw it coming and it was obvious to us so why couldn't the others see it.

Reading posts from August, after the debacle against Wolves which we all knew would happen and NA was naive and if it doesn't get better it could be a difficult season and we ought to have got an experienced manager, by the end of the month, we all knew that Neil would prove the doubters wrong and we now looked almost odds on to go up. And what good business we had done in the transfer market. Bradley Johnson back on course for an England call up.

By the time it was getting darker earlier in the evenings, we had a poll as to whether NA should go or not. Martin just couldn't play at CB and Grabban couldn't hit a barn door and everybody knew Johnson couldn't pass the ball and why couldn't the board see what we had been telling them. Don't they read our posts?

Now we've got a bloke no-one has heard of and a coach who crosses his fingers. He ought to, he's picked the worst right back in Britain to play CM. Everyone knew we should have tried harder to get Wilson instead of Grabban and if we can get some money for Hooper and Redmond it would be good business.

But luckily we knew all along the we had the shrewdest manager in the Championship whose 4-1-3-1-1 has to be the best formation ever invented and to be honest six points is nothing.

Oh and by the way, Bradley Johnson is the POTS.
