All sorts of interesting issues / drama/ possibilities here!

Was last week just a flash in the pan?

After another week of Phelan's training, how will the team shape up at home?

Will we see any of Vadis, Hoolahan or Bennett?

What effect will Mr Grant Holt have on the game?

Lol, am looking forward to, and dreading this game in equal measures!

I look forward to seeing if Bennett, Wes and Vadis are in the squad, and if so whether NA will select them or bring them on later. With these three on form, and not "tainted" by the run of poor results, there could be a different atmosphere in the team.

But will NA change a winning side? Will he weaken the midfield and put more emphasis on attack,by restoring Redmond? There is another interesting question, which is will he go with the same defence as at Wigan?

I don't know the answers to these questions, but I shall look forward to seeing the squad on Saturday.

I think there could be more than an annoyed "harrumph" from the Canary faithful if we don't see a slightly more attacking lineup!

My first game in over a month so definitely looking forward to this one, feel like I've missed a lot! Definitely interested to see what the atmosphere is like inside the ground as a lot has been said about it! I assume there hasn't been quite so many "Neil Adams Yellow Army" chants of late ;)

I think we'll see the same defence as last week considering that was our first clean sheet in what seems like an eternity. Hopefully a more attacking line up overall however, need to get the ball to Hoopers' feet as much as possible inside that box!

All things considered, the fans have been very patient. Last home game they were supportive, despite probably really not enjoying what they were seeing. But quite rightly let their opinion be known after the full time whistle.

Grant Holt is on The Scrimmage at 6pm tonight with Mick Dennis. May tune in and see what Holty has to say!

The report from NA that Vadis has had a setback may mean that the only change in the midfield on Saturday could be the return of Redmond, and perhaps a 4-3-3 formation or similar. He hinted that Bennett and Wes are lacking time on the pitch, although fit, so it looks as if they could be on the bench.

If so, who will drop out? Johnson? Surely not Howson or Tettey, and O'Neill has the creativity that we would not want to lose!

Really hoping that we don't play Russell Martin at centre back today like we have been in recent weeks. Holty will absolutely destroy him in the air, and I think that Michael Turner is the only one of our fit defenders that can match him. Cuellar and Martin at the back would worry me a little bit, even though they were relatively comfortable against Wigan. Plus Martin is a much better right back anyway.

Team:

Ruddy
Martin Cuellar Turner Garrido
Redmond Howson Tettey Olsson
Hooper Lafferty

That's the team I'd like to see, but I doubt we'll see that. O'Neil was quite good against Wigan, and I actually thought Johnson was much improved as well, however I think Howson and Tettey is definitely our best combination. As I said before the Wigan game, I'd like to see Lafferty given an opportunity up front, as we're yet to see him there so far, and Jerome hasn't been at his best in recent weeks. Also I'd like to see Olsson left midfield, and Garrido left back, as we don't really have anyone better to play left wing from the start. However I think we'll see the same team as the Wigan game, but with Redmond back in for O'Neil and Johnson left midfield.

Think this will be a high-scoring game, and will say 2-2. Although it would be superb if we can follow up our win last week with a win and a good performance this week. It'll be a difficult game this though, as Huddersfield seemed to have improved drastically since Powell took over. Wells and Holt up top as well is a very threatening combination, who I imagine balance each other quite well.

It will be good to see Holty back at Carrow Road again, for the first time since he left. That's up to the point where he inevitably scores.

Nathan Redmond has just tweeted this. Have to wonder whether this is anything to do him perhaps being on the bench for the second consecutive week.

Fumin' ?

Very hard to see anything other than Martin and Cuellar at the back. Do feel a bit sorry for Turner because he has carried the defence at times this season - has had to put up with playing on the wrong side and alongside different partners and then gets dropped when he slips up.

But we'll see if Huddersfield have a bit more punch upfront than Wigan. Martin's best games at CB tend to come against sides that haven't got anything upfront.

Martin does have more mobility than either Cuellar or Turner, and that could be a factor if Huddersfield go 4-3-3. They haven't got a great record away from home though, so Holty could be alone up front. Hard one to call.

I think people need to stop fixating on Holt so much. He has scored 2 goals in 10 games.

His arrival at Huddersfield has coincided with them finding form and getting the best out of some of their young players though. He doesn't have the goal threat that he once did but he still makes a nuisance of himself, wins a lot of balls in the air and brings others into play.

I hope we are working a lot on defending set pieces in training because he's going to be going down every 5 minutes for a free kick   :D

Can't decide who I want our centre back pairing to be. Cuellar and Martin had a decent game against WIgan but I really can't see them coping with Holt in the air and it is inevitable that Huddersfield (being the away team) will look to use him as the outlet. Martin in particular would be shown up for his biggest weakness against Holt I think. Perhaps it is best if Turner returns alongside Cuellar, Turner vs Holt will be a decent battle.

Oh I don't disagree. But there is a whole raft of people just waiting for him to score so they could roll their eyes and flail their arms and say "See, I knew it"

If he wasn't an ex Norwich player I doubt we'd even be mentioning his name.

I was thinking about this in the shower earlier (yes that does sound a bit weird!),I realised that I simply wouldn't ever want Holt to come back here as a player. Despite feeling that he could probably still do a job in our squad now that Adams is prepared to play a bit uglier to grind out results, and that he couldn't do any worse than Grabban in his recent form, just what would he have to gain from coming back here?

Fleck made that mistake. Literally nothing that he could add to his legacy here, unless he came off the bench and scored a winner in a play-off final or something, could only damage it if it didn't work out. We should be grateful for the fact that we had him for his 3 best years in his prime and leave it at that.

I do have a feeling that he'll score because he's the type of player who rises to the occasion and we don't keep many clean sheets, but I couldn't give a toss if he scores or not really because we should have the ability in our squad to outscore Huddersfield, which is ultimately all that really matters. If they score we need to score twice, simple really!

Wish I was at the game to give him his big welcome back though, which I'm sure he'll get, its not very often that you come up against a player who is a genuine club legend and it may be the last time (unless we end up in League One playing Carlisle  )

We got rid of him at the right time, we were upgrading our squad, and the team he was so successful in was no longer. And really that has been proved to be correct by him really not having great success after leaving us.

I am not so sure he will score, however big and tough he is, I think he'll find the return to Carrow a bit strange, especially after the massive love we will give him when his name is announced.

But yes, its about us, as a team, being better than them, not just Grant Holt.

I wonder if people will cheer if he does score lol?

That would be very odd and I'd hope not.

A round of applause and a little chant before kick-off, and the same at full-time if he initiates one by clapping our fans, that will do nicely.

But I do hope we don't get people moaning about him celebrating if he scores. Of course he's going to celebrate if he scores, that's the Grant Holt that we knew and loved, he isn't going to give a toss about winding a few people up and never has!

People will always find something to moan about. The degree depends on whether we win or lose. If we lose, expect Canary calls questioning why we sold him.

We need to make the game about us, not a returning ex player.

I question the fragility of the crowd though, we need a good start.
