I'm optimistic. And like Neil's American cousin Will-i-am "I got a feeling"

Bournemouth are unbeaten in 14 games in the league.

I'd take a point all day long.

This game is a double-edged sword though. If we take any points then Ipswich can go top.

We'll either go there and give them a really good game, and get something from it, just like we did against Derby. Or we'll crumble like we did against Middlesbrough, and lose convincingly. I think realistically if we are going to get into the automatic promotion places, we have to get at least a point.

Team:

Ruddy
Martin Turner Cuellar Olsson
Redmond Howson Tettey Johnson
Hooper Jerome

That's what I'd play, but not what I think we'll go with. I think that O'Neil will play rather than Redmond, and Whittaker will play instead of Turner. I don't know who played well and who played poorly or whatever against Preston, but that's what I'd play judging on recent games.

Gonna go with 2-1 Bournemouth :(

I don't think either Turner or Bennett covered themselves in glory against Preston. I'd go back to the team that got 10 points in December, in spite of the Reading loss. We need to build some consistency rather than chopping and changing from week to week.

Agree. Injuries permitting. We need results for the next few games. Then the new manager can perhaps put his mark on a winning team.

Unless they lose ;-)

Events off the field this week have rather overshadowed the build up to this game. Add to that, pre presser, we really don't know what's going through the mind of Mike Phelan, it's almost impossible to predict formation and players for this one.

Undoubtedly, this is going to be a tough test against the League leaders who won all five matches in December. I'm therefore going to predict s surprise result (Norwich not losing) as the most likely result.

At 3 oclock on Saturday I was confident that we would beat Preston

I am confident we will pull a surprise win this Saturday (3-2)

I think the players were always going to be up for this;  and with the incentive of looking to impress the new manager (whoever that ends up being) I think a big performance and a draw is on the cards.

As for the team / formation - not a scooby!  but would prefer,  depending in the quick injury recoveries

                Ruddy

Martin Cuellar Bennett Olsson

       ONeill Tettey

Redmond Howson  Johnson

             Jerome

1-1 - surman to score

You never know but cannot see anything other than a home win with our inconsistent lot.

This season has gone for me. Yes a play off place is possible and can see that happening but not having the mental strength to get through is more the issue. I wish the manger good luck but a realatively still inexperienced manager coming from a low standard league to us is a gamble. Will like the rest of us welcome him and give him time and see how it plays out. Not that excited by it to be honest as it feels a " let's hope he works out like Lambert appointment" and it seems we cannot attract a higher calibre of manager but we will see.

I dont see any evidence that the club cannot attract a higher calibre manager, they just went a different route, a very risky one at that.

Now we have a new manager on board, I would expect every player pulling on that Yellow & green shirt today to at least play for their career and put in a big performance, so from thinking we will scrap for a draw, I am now going for a win.......why not, its only Bournemouth after all !

In theory that should happen DM, but am not convinced. Not sure some of our under performing lot will do that. They should be scrapping everytime they put that yellow and green shirt on in my opinion and that has been lacking throughout the season.
