This'll be a difficult game, Brentford are doing very well at the moment. But after yesterday's performance and result there's no reason why we can't win this one as well. I imagine we'll see Cameron Jerome come in for Kyle Lafferty, but apart from that it'll probably be the same team. Hard to predict which way this will go, as it's a meeting of 2 teams in very good form, but I'll go with a draw.

Has to be the same starting 11 unless anyone has picked up an injury. Brentford are a decent side, in a good run of form & have a decent manager but I expect us to win.

Interesting because it is only three days after Cardiff, maybe one or two changes this time.   I still like Lafferty and what he brings to the team, so keep him in, but would think about leaving Wes on the sub bench for this one and giving Odidja-Ofeo a start.

                       Ruddy

Martin     Hoiveld    Turner    Olsson

     Tettey   Odidja-Ofeo  Johnson

Redmond      Grabban       Lafferty

Jerome, Murphy and Wes to come on if needed to shake things up.

I'm really looking forward to this, terracing and a pub in each corner of the ground. Sounds like football sex to me!

Anyone been before and knows which pub away fans use?

Showing my age - given the choice between terrace or seats I went for the seats.

Last time we had this choice, Peterborough away in the Cup, virtually all fans in the seated area also stood. You've been warned!

Funnily enough I don't mind standing in seated areas, I just don't like terracing. Mind you I really hate ambiguous areas where some stand & some sit - it's got to be one or another for me but I'm fine with both.

Btw I sat throughout the Posh cup game. Thinking of investing in a tartan blanket & thermos flask soon.

They'll probably be up for it, but our squad is vastly better than theirs. Can't lose, draw wouldn't be horrendous, but really we should be looking to beat them.

We always seemed to lose to them in the cups over the last 20 years. Hopefully our class will be too much for them

Possibly we're going to see the first signs of squad rotation. Lots of games in a short space of time and also lots of players desperate to play! Will be interesting to see if we can maintain consistency and playing style when we start shuffling personnel.

Looking for a win Splutcho and really looking forward to my trip, first visit for me.

They are on a good run, the squad is really irrelevant, it's the 11 on the pitch that counts.

I think we will be on a huge high after Saturday and will carry that on into this game. Cant wait!!

Lafferty may have picked up a knock, but regardless Jerome deserves a start after his game changing performance. Otherwise the same again.

I think I'd be interested in rotating a little for this game, not majorly but would give Jerome the chance and Vadis a start in place of Wes. Maybe even give Josh Murphy a start for Redmond, save his legs for the weekend. Although I imagine Josh will be playing against Shrewsbury in the cup next week.

Jerome in for Lafferty, harsh on him as I think he puts in a good shift but Jerome deserves a start. I'd also be tempted to put him up front and push grabban wide. Otherwise unchanged.

Be interesting to see what Neil does though, he's going to have to start rotating soon to keep all these lads happy.

I'm sorry LDC but no way Wes should be dropped, he's been outstanding for most of the matches so far. I'd take the other route and if Wes is playing badly or we're cruising bring the new lad on for a runout to keep wes fresh for the weekend.

Agreed he's been outstanding - but so have others.  Not really dropping him, would only be giving him a rest in what is going to be a long season.  As someone else said, a bit of squad rotation is going to be necessary this season - and keeping Wes fresh is important.

Agreed. It is likely that we will see a few changes, what with the 7 games in 22 days. That's pretty much a game every three days.

Wouldn't surprise me if we see something of Vadis tomorrow night, perhaps off of the bench, and Jerome has to start after the 45 minutes he just gave us.

Agree, you don't drop or rotate players who are in good form.
