I can't imagine we'll change all that much unless we have to. I think we may start with the same team as we did against Bournemouth, not lost in 4, it's hard to change that. Although I wouldn't hate Jos coming in at centre back and Russ going out to RB and hopefully we get our first look at Vadis at some point over the course of the evening.

I've got a feeling that Adams is going to really change things up for Cardiff away, not sure why but I just have.

Is this our first really really big test? Blackburn at home was a test but this one will be the toughest game yet IMO.

I really hope that Martin starts at RB. Does anyone know is Olsson is back in the country? I think we desperately need his pace.

Not sure if he's back yet but you would expect he'd be available for the game, of course his focus might not be back. If he is back and ready then he would certainly be a part of my preferred back 4. The other spaces filled with Martin, Turner and Hooiveld. It will be a battle for sure, I really wouldn't fancy Martin at CB facing the likes of Kenwyn Jones, le Fondre and even Macheda.

Looking forward Vadis will have to be amazing in training to displace either Bradders or Tettey. I could see Jerome coming in for Lafferty though.

A draw would be a good result here.

Real test for us this one and really can't see there being any changes at all apart from the bench. As we are now unbeaten in four i feel it would be totally unfair to drop Garrido for Olsson, Olsson was hardly on fire against Wolves getting beaten for pace by the winger and letting his team down by getting sent off. Whatever we feel about Garrido, he hasn't done much wrong and imo deserves his starting spot. If we want good competiton for places and harmony in the squad you don't go handing out starting spots just because someone becomes available again, let him earn it back

As said above, probably our most difficult game yet. That said though we've arguably had a tougher start to the season than Cardiff on paper but we've picked up more points so there's no reason if we play as well as we have done in some of those games we can't pick up a win. I can't see there being loads of changes, but I'm sure Olsson will come back in for Garrido, and possibly Jerome or Murphy coming in for Lafferty. I personally would bring Olsson back in for Garrido. I can see why fans would want Adams to stick with Garrido, as Olsson hardly impressed in the 1 game he played, but Garrido was at as much fault for Bournemouth's goal last week as Redmond was, because he came so far out of position to close down Stanislas, that he left a great big space in behind him, making it easy for Bournemouth to get in behind us. Olsson was one of our best players last season, and certainly our best defender, so I think we should definitely bring him back in. Apart from that I would keep the team as it is.

Don't really know what to expect from this, we haven't actually been that impressive away from home so far this season. Lost on the opening day, and weren't actually brilliant against Ipswich, we only really won because Ipswich were so poor. I'm going to stay cynical and say we'll lose, so that for me if we get anything more I'll be even happier than usual. A small part of me thinks we won't lose but I don't want to be optimistic  :D

Hard to call it really regarding changes. I'd be inclined to be unchanged but i'd probably have Olsson come in for Garrido. If Hooper and Howson are back as well Adams has some right headaches! Do you go Vadis or Bradders with Tettey? Howson or Hoolahan? Hooper or Grabban? Lafferty or Jerome? Martin or one of the new boys?

At least we know training will be high standard!

Personally I doubt that we'll see Vadis, Hooiveld and the boy wonder McGrandles until the Shrewsbury game unless we pick up some injuries over the international break. It doesn't make much sense to mess around with a winning team too much and it won't be long before injuries & suspensions will force Neil's hand.

Although I've had reservations about his recent form, I would definitely play Redmond. Cardiff were terrible when we played them earlier this year which made the defeat difficult to take. I don't think they've got any better & I really don't rate OGS so I'm expecting a happier trip back than last time.

Mot even off the bench Andy?

We surely don't go spend £4m on a guy to not even put him in the squad?

I have this odd, spooky feeing in the water works that we can win this game.

Probably the hardest game of the season. Have a feeling Adams will change things - Norwich weren't particulary good against Bournemouth and struggled with the quick passing, something OGS has got Cardiff doing also.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the diamond return to try and cancel out Cardiff's midfield. Tettey holding, Johnson and VOO in the middle and Hoolahan on point. Grabban and Jerome/Redmond up top, depending on if Adams wants them to go a bit more direct, or to counter with pace.

Impossible to call the defence without knowing how fit players are, Olsson lacked sharpness against Wolves, which probably stems from the fairly awful summer he must have had. Hard to see him being much fitter now (although did play most of the game for Sweden yesterday). Might be worth keeping Garrido in as he has been okay in the last couple of matches. Cuellar looked incredibly rusty against Crawley so probably shouldn't be risked yet - not sure about Hooiveld and Miquel, in terms of match sharpness. Don't really want Jones v Martin at the back as there will only be one winner there...

IMO, Hooiveld will come in alongside Turner and Martin will play at RB. If Olsson is playing for Sweden, he'll probably play for us, with Garrido replacing him in the Cup. Can't see either Tettey or Johnson being dropped, so the main changes will be on the bench. Odjidja could come on for either Tettey or Johnson, but I have a sneaking suspicion he might come on for Wes. Hooper and Howson could also come on if we're chasing the game.

Yes I think Hooiveld & Vadis will be on the bench for both Cardiff & Brentford and may make cameo appearances but I expect them to make their first starts against Shrewsbury.

According to Sky Sports, Redmond started up front in the centre of a 4-3-3 for the U21s tonight. 0-1 to England, with Kane scoring after coming on as sub.

He seemed to play quite well as well. Didn't watch the game but he hit the bar as well as having a shot cleared off the line.

Josh Murphy also scored for England under 20's tonight against Lithuania. England ended up winning 6-0.

Redmond seems to do consistently well at U21 level and he seems to get more shots on target for them - hat trick in a recent game (?) - has to be encouraging for Norwich.  It shows the ability is there and it also maybe shows that the extra pressure of playing in the domestic league is what makes him find it harder to be quite so prolific when playing for us.   Will surely happen though as he matures.   Josh Murphy too, although he looks to me to be to be maturing as a player quite quickly.  Everyone is different, but what is exciting for us, is to have these two young and exciting players on our books.

I suspect that NA will put Hooiveld in the centre of defence, and move Martin to RB. My reasoning is that Miguel lacks experience, and we need height and experience.

Redmond and Lafferty seem to be pencilled in as wide men, and the big question is in the centre. I think that Tettey and Johnson as possessors may start, but O-O and Howson may get a run for slightly different reasons.

Up front I expect Wes to hold his place and also Grabban, but again he may bring on Josh, Jerome or Hooper, depending on the state of the game and the match fitness of players like Howson and Hooper.

NA has surprised us before, and much will depend on which combination he feels will best counter Cardiff. He will also have had several players who were not, involved in internationals, and also returning internationals, for several days. Who knows what they may have worked out in training?

I would happily take a point here. Easily our toughest game so far.

And a hugely important one for us to keep momentum going....especially since we then have

Brentford

Birmingham

Blackpool

charlton

Which I would expect to see a goodly return of points from...
