Well Russell Martin has got form for trying to get managers sacked, and he has got a motive.

As it happens... I wouldn't be entirely against the club making Russell Martin our next manager, like Swansea and Garry Monk, as long as they kneecap him first so he can't pick himself. Both knees.

Interested to read Dave Freezers tweet today relating to Russ going on loan.

"Never play for Farke again" was the gist of it, not sure why he's been bombed out, but his last game was pretty grim.

Maybe he was too outspoken?

Farke seems to be quashing suggestions of a loan? So don't know if Russ has upset him?

Just went and looked for the tweet, and yeah, a real odd one. I wonder if it is a similar situation to years ago with Matt Jackson, who supposedly absolutely licked round the management, and the players hated him for it.

Reporters keep asking Farke about Russ and Naismith but no way of knowing if he's got an agenda with the players or just using the media to up the prices for other clubs?

I do find it extremely odd that Russ was given a new contract in the summer, but can't get on the bench now, far less get in the team.
