Not sure if I am, hope there is a sell on percentage to account for his potential. That £8m does reflect his injury problems, but one good injury free season and he will be a £15m+ player (if this is true).

Pointless move for him, QPR will go down.

Lets hope we spend the money on classy centre back

When he was asked that the fact that fer had gones to all 4 corners of the ground to applaud the fans was that his way of saying goodbye. To which Adams bascically replied "good all the players should be doing this as the fans were great today" he then went on to say no acceptable bid had come in for him and he was in his plans for Tuesday night. Now this is not to say in the time after that interview something hasn't been thrashed out with QPR.

Like many, I was cheered to see Leroy Fer come on today, but it now looks like he's on his way to QPR, as expected. That's dampened the mood a bit.

Adams has also ruled out the rumours about Kris Commons.

I think we're undervaluing him. Just because we bought him for a good price doesn't mean £8 million is a good fee. Look at the prices other Premier League players are going for. He's a Dutch World Cup goalscorer FFS.

QPR fans seem surprised about the amount involved. I really like Fer, but he has one major weakness and that is his casual stroll back to defensive positions when the ball is lost.

On another note, Snodgrass went off with an injury after 40 minutes today.

Depressing. Too cheap. Fer is a rare breed of complete midfielder. Selling him is a real backward step. I hope there are add-ons

Disappointing if he's off, but I suppose I understand that it's quite good for both sides really. I hope we reinvest the money though.

I'm sorry rare brand of complete midfielder. Did you watch him last season. That is utter utter rubbish. He was crap last season after September.

And yes he scored a goal at the World Cup. He played bloody 10 minutes the whole tournament.

James Rodriguez is a complete midfielder Gareth bale is a complete midfielder ronaldo is a compete midfielder.

Leroy Fer is a bottom half prem midfielder at the very best. If he was compete the Real Madrid or Barcelona or a top 6 prem team would be paying 20 million

Utter utter rubbish and I'm being polite because I like this forum but I'm nearing getting a warning post with some of the tripe people talk

You are right mate, probably are close to getting warning point - please try and calm down a little.

We all have different opinions and that is the point in forums, I don't want people to feel like they can't share their opinion (whatever it is) without being responded to with aggressive undertones. Have actually been a little concerned about the lack of posters today, although probably the difference between a home game and away game, but want everybody to feel like they can sign up and share their thoughts.

As it happens I'm somewhere in between your opinion on Fer and The Mass Debaters opinion on Fer, but really no need to get yourself so wound up. It doesn't lead anywhere, shouting down anothers opinion isn't going to change that persons opinion, only makes them less willing to share them in future, and the last thing that this brand new community needs is less contributors.....

Could we at least wait until Fer actually leaves before people start with the overly emotional stuff?
