Rate Our Summer Signings

Cameron Jerome has been our best signing this season for me, with a solid 8/10. Both O'Neill and Cuellar showing a lot of promise in recent games, perhaps 7/10. Grabban 6/10, sufficient quality as our third choice striker but not on the same level as Hooper or Jerome. Hooper has been a revelation since he returned to the fold! 

Hooiveld and Lafferty both look like poor signings to me I'm a afraid. I know that a lot of people rate Lafferty but I've not seen much at all from him, can strike a good free kick and that's about all he really offers. 4/10 for Hooiveld and 5/10 for Lafferty from me, and that's being generous. I hope that we see more from Lafferty but I just can't see it happening. Maybe he just needs a goal?

I wonder if its more that Lafferty needs to nail down a position.

Is he a wide player? Is he a striker?

Sometimes players can actually suffer for such flexibility.

Some truth in that Morty, but Lafferty does do more than score goals. Of all the strikers, he's the best at tracking back and that is crucial in keeping a balance between attack and defence.
