As some of you might or might not know, I am a West Ham fan first, followed very very closely by Norwich and have had a season ticket at Carrow road for 10 season longer than I did as a kid at Upton Park, and one of the numerous reason I am giving up the season tickets at Norwich is that I bought me and the boy half season tickets at West Ham that started on 1st of Jan and guarantees us the last season at Upton Park and moving on to the Olympic Stadium, also as the kids are now living in Essex the travel and cost up to Norwich for the quality of football we have had is another big factor.

Now with regards to the Hammers fans that want Big Sam out, they are morons, he has proven this year that with the right players the team can play attractive football and get results.  I have thought of a good example of playing players in the right position.

Take Whitaker at the weekend, and compare him to Stewart Downing, he was playing on the wing last season and was crap and now he is palying in behind the strikers he has been nothing short of amazing this season.  You play someone in their best position and they will be more comfortable and should play better.  Now I'm not saying that Whitaker excels at RB because personally I think he's crap, but playing him in midfield was ludicrous.

At the end of the day it is a results business, if we played crap football and ground out 1-0 wins every week and were top of the league by 10 points how many people would be moaning, I wouldn't.  It's when you play utter tripe for a game and a half and lose one game and nearly throw away a 3 goal lead in the other that's when I worry.

I am just as paassionate about Norwich as I am West Ham and have spent thousands of pounds in season tickets and travel and merchandise over the last 10 years to watch city play which is a damn site more than all the armchair supporters that live in Norfolk and haven't been to a game in years or even at all!!

Paul! I generally disagree with what you say but now i realise you're a bubbly wet spam fan that makes plenty more sense!

I presume that you would want West Ham to beat Norwich should they face each other with real stakes at either end? In which case, you ain't a Norwich fan! Sorry, I just don't go along with this two club thing. I can understand taking an interest in another club but you're essentially saying now you can get to watch West Ham because it's easier for you, that's who you'll go to!

No actually I would want the team that needed it more to win, like last at Upton Park I went and wanted Norwich to win.

Why does it make me less of a fan, just because you disagree with what I say, the fact I like two teams doesn't make me less of a fan.

I go to Orient and Dagenham games as well as they are local to me.

I'm more a supporter of the club than most people on here and pinkun.  I went to to 3/4 of all the games last season, I travel up from Essex or London for every game even midweek games and get home at 1am.

I too have always believed football is a one club commitment, BUT....remember when I was a teen a friend of mine and his Dad having season tickets for us and Ipswich and really not knowing who to support when the local derbies came along as they were as passionate about both!!  That all said, I like many others, certainly keep an eye on a few teams due to family or friend connections or even a soft spot for the type of football they play.....

It explains a lot because of the general miserableness, dissatisfaction and critical attitude of West Ham fans. Even City fans don't boo when we win.

I've known a great many West Ham fans in my life including family and can confidently say that a happy, contented, satisfied West Ham fan is an oxymoron.
