Herr Farke says we are building something extraordinary here, and it is starting to feel like it. I hope we have a wee bit to spend in January to help the promition push along.

I don’t dislike Naismith like some, but it has to be said we certainly wouldn’t miss him if he left. How much we could get for him is another matter but freeing up his wages would certainly help. Perhaps there’s a cheap, unknown German striker available somewhere ?

Can't see us getting a striker with Watkins being able to play there.

Aye, have to admit I had briefly forgotten about Marley, who ticks the wide player and striker box. We still have Russ available at RB, and I think Ben Godfrey (when he comes back from loan) can play there? Centre mid we have Pritch to come back, and I think one of the youngsters may be on the fringes? Todd Cantwell is it?

I am not so sure we will see Naismith again, I reckon he'll go to Rangers on a deal where we pay part of his wages.

I wouldn't particularly trust Russ at RB. And I'm doubtful Godfrey will make the grade.

Pritch is more for the up the field. What if Trybull or Reed were out? Vrancic maybe.

Yup, seems the most likely outcome for Naismith. Pleased when we signed him but I won't miss him.

Nelson is obviously not right, I'm wondering if he doesn't need surgery to sort out this groin problem.  He wouldn't be the first with that type of injury.

Forgot Naismith still played for us in all honesty. I'd rather see Matt Jarvis back and fit some time soon, we need another wide option.

In regards to centre mid, Jamal Lewis will be back later in the season, so with him and Husband as our left back options, we could move Stiepermann into the middle. 

Does feel like we're building something special though. Love everything about the club at the moment. Next 2 games are massive tests, but if any team can get good results from them it's this one.

Real pity he got injured as I was very impressed with him. I wonder hiw he is doing? You never hear his name mentioned in injury updates.

Nah I mean when we get Lewis back from injury with him and Husband we should have two decent left back options. That way we won't need Stiepermann, naturally a centre midfielder, to cover us at left back, and he can play in his normal position. So we'll then have Stiepermann, Trybull, Reed and Tettey as our holding midfield options.

Didn't get the opportunity unfortunately to watch him pre-season, but as you say it is a shame as both Farke and Webber clearly like him, and he made an impression with you and other fans that watched him. Obviously playing in friendlies is different to playing 'proper' football, but hopefully he'll be back in time maybe for our first FA Cup game? If so would be nice to give him a run out in that see if he can hold his own in the first team.

I just think it is great that we are finally giving our youth chances, instead of loaning them out then eventually flogging them on for peanuts.
