I was a little surprised to see during the Millwall game both Adams and Phelan within the technical area and urging players  with different mannerisms at times. Have I missed this in previous games?

This could be the result of several different things. Have they worked something out, including a way of avoiding conflicting messages to players, do they act on different aspects of the game or on different players or parts of the team? Perhaps Adams has only a residual responsibility, but couldn't refrain to acting yesterday.

I do not see many live games these days, so there may be a more general pattern involving other clubs, but while I can remember managers and assistants appearing at different times and I can't recall occasions when both appeared together.

In fairness it does happen occasionally where you see the manager and coach up at the same time, even recently I saw Harry and Kevin Bond up together .......but, I am sure in this case it was fine, as MP would certainly have been giving NA some instructions before allowing him to pass on information to the team......or am I being a little harsh.....apologies to those fans of NA if I am......
