Its been an unusual show of loyalty via twitter. Whenever he was out or on the bench it was nothing but positive comments. Support for him could have waned very quickly if he had acted egotistically - but every word coming out of him sounds humble and appreciative. Could all be good PR, but the language seems to be genuine. Not like when you see Wayne Rooney release articulate statements that have obviously been written for him, when normally he sounds like he cant string two sentences together. They sound like his genuine words. You cant help but like him despite his on-field woes. It sounds very much like he wants to stay at the club despite the loan. Normally players release statements like - cant wait to fire in the goals for my new club and show them what I can do, thanks for having faith in me, perhaps I can earn myself a permenant move etc. Perhaps he sees himself as being written off at present but thinks if he takes his opportunity here he might be welcomed back with open arms. Who knows
