Unfortunately, as we saw last year
The buck stops with those at the top,
And sad to say, in this case, that´s Adams N
If all this rot we are to stop
But as we also saw when Hughton left
Success is far from guaranteed,
It´s not often that just one man´s at fault
However much the wound may bleed
Hughton was criticised both for his style
And for turning good players poor,
Adams on the other hand made it clear
His emphasis was on to score
The opposite ends of the football scale
Where each could have found benefit,
From the other´s philosophy, I would say
To become a near perfect fit
Many of the players are still the same
And although the problems are not,
I don´t see that we´ve progressed very much
Enjoyment is still hard to spot
After-match comments, we hear them each week
Lamenting where we have gone wrong,
But it´s becoming a bit of a bore
Having to hear the same old song
Goodness knows whether a change in this case
Would be much better than a rest,
Or, if that is the course taken, whether
A new face willl then pass the test
Phelan´s appearance I see hampering
The situation, I´m afraid,
Unless part of the deal to bring him here
Was a step up, should Adams fade
But would he really be better, if so
As boss, he is just as untried,
If this was a mistake, as many thought
It may need more to stem the tide. OTBC
