Will Hughton ruin our season?

After all, he's out for revenge and knows most of our players, apart from the Leeds game this is the one I was dreading.

Do you think I'm being over anxious about this? :unsure:

Will Hughton ruin our season? Well, its his forte, so why should he change now?

Well Hughton's team have been playing well recently, and he is defensively minded. So it could be difficult for us to break them down. I suspect that it could be a low scoring game, 0-0 anyone, or 1-1?

We just need to make sure we get the opening goal. If we score first Hughton will defend the 1-0 loss and we'll be fine. With a bit of luck Hughton will have been in the job long enough now to have worked his magic and rendered their attack completely ineffective and the remainder of their team paralyzed with fear and shot of any confidence. Hopefully we'll also be able to play a high defensive line and pen them in, as if we lose the ball Hughton's slow build up will give us plenty of time to get back and regroup.

That is of course unless he's changed his tactics. Quite why he might have had such an uncharacteristic epiphany though I have no idea...

They are a good team and, to be fair to him, he is very good at organising his sides but I have a feeling we will have too much for them. Bearing in mind the run they are on and that they will be at home I am hopeful they might come out a bit and try to actually play us as opposed to sitting inside their own 18 yard box, if they do we should have too much quality for them. We have struggled most this year when teams sit deep, it suits us much better when side push up a bit and hopefully they will. 

It won't be easy but I am predicting a win.

I would find it slightly ironic if they did given the number of Norwich fans who treat the manager who took us to our highest league placing in 20 years as if he's some sort of imbecile. Oh, but I forgot, Man City were on the beach......

He's a bloody good manager and will make it very hard but we should have enough about us.

He is a good manager and he always acted with dignity, he was no rodent and, despite how it ended, I still quite like him and wish him well.

Still reckon we will win though.

I too acknowledge he is actually a good manager and one who is capable of engineering a win against us, but only if we get the Norwich that played at Huddersfield and not the one that played against Forest.....that side will win, simple as.

I would bet much more on Wes Hoolahan, with the form he is currently in, getting one over a manager who clearly didn't rate him. Bet you he is desperate to start this one.

I wonder if there are any other players who will be particularly up for it? Bassong's feelings might be complicated, but I wonder about some.

A number of people suggested Russell Martin wasnt too upset to see Hughton go, with him being made Adams' go to man perhaps demonstrating something. Hughton goes, Russ instantly moved to centre-back (where he had stated he wanted to play and Hughton could have been more accomodating) and he's made captain

Apart from the new signings though its pretty much still Hughtons team and the men he backed
