Wiz my friend, I've replied to you regarding this elsewhere, and you know my feelings on the subject.  I do feel you are also disregarding the fact that PL is without Culverhouse and Karsa now, and as such, I for one don't think he'd be anywhere near as effective as he was, wherever he goes without that duo alongside him.  I also think it just shows how low things have got at Celtic, that he's being seriously considered for that post after a very ordinary career path after leaving us.

In reality I think there's little chance of Lambert returning, but hey, I can dream.

The main objection raised time and again against Neil is that he lacks experience. It seems  quite contrary to give him experience and then get rid of him so some other club can get the benefit.

i don't think it's up for debate as I have no doubt that the club will stick with him. It wants the return on its investment but if it became a real discussion then I would keep Neil. I certainly wouldn't replace him with Lambert.

sometimes it just works for a person at the right time.  We have our outstanding example with Grant Holt who never matched his form with us anywhere else before or since. It just all works out. Lambert has done nothing like his achievements here before or since. Again, I think it was one of those magic times when it all came together. I will always treasure the memories of those times as shall we all but it cannot be replicated.

AN wont take us to League1 and hopefuly we dont take Lamberg back at any point. He manageri to build success here and I thank him for that, but I think he had quite much luck and good momentum in premiership with us and did not show any signs of making us tactically mature team. 

I would be happy to give AN second shot.
