It's good to belong to a club with a commitment to the community. Mcnally explained all this at the last fans forum and it's great to see it being put into action.

We should all be proud of our club.

Great stuff from the club. Childrens BBC has a programme called Something Special which is focussed around disabled children. They took this little lad who was a Man City fan around the ground, and brought out his special surprise, which was two of the youth team that noone had heard of. Im sure Man City must do a lot of work for charity, but I did feel a little sorry for the lad that they couldnt have mustered at least one pro with the time to meet him. Its great when those with the power to make someones day special, simply by making an appearance do so.

He sits literally right in front of me at each game, with the blonde woman that was shown with him at the end of the video. He's there every game and I'm chuffed for him that he got the opportunity to do that. Fantastic from the club to do that for him as well.

I don't know if other clubs do this sort of thing, and I frankly don't care. It shows that there is still a strong community bond between the club and the fans, and it warms my heart knowing that in the cynical world of football, they take the time to care.

And having met and talked to a fair few people involved with the club, especially McNally, I am pretty convinced that all this is isn't just cynical marketing.

It's fantastic from the club, and as you say shows a great bond between the club and the fans. And it seemed like just from that video that the players really wanted to greet him and get him involved, which is brilliant on their behalf, and as you say demonstrates that it isn't just the club trying to promote themselves.

Great from all involved, really good to see things like this from the club. Yes its good press, but people have genuinely cared enough to make the day special for him, sorted it out so he's there for the team photo and to meet all the players and staff not just a couple.

Its a horrible disease and I can't possibly understand what its like to live with. Genuinely brought a tear to see his and his family's reaction.
