Karl Robinson is a good shout I'm a fan of his. I bet he wouldn't throw his clothes on the floor in a strop though and thats what I really want from a manager.

Before anyone says I'm censoring, I say this as a poster, not a moderator, but can we try and show the bloke some respect? I no longer want him to be in a job, but let's not fall into calling him "The Radio Presenter" or, "The DJ". We've seen it before from our fans ("The Cook", "Clueless Chris"). Well said. If the bloke fails at managing us then so be it.

Season before last he was the only guy who won anything, the first time in nearly 30 years. And he was a good player and played many games for us. And he had a sense of humour on his radio stint. So there isn't much not to like about the chap.

People calling him names are trying to be clever do this forum a disservice. As I said on a different post, this forum isn't about us, its about the club and he has been a top guy, if perhaps failing with the big job.

Very different candidates, but it's Pulis or Hoddle for me. Just on Keane, if in the highly unlikely event he ever came to our club in some capacity, I would very seriously consider not supporting the club during his time with us, I really would.

He's achieved nothing with a nobody club in a nothing league with no budget, but he's still more qualified than Adams and he got the job.

If it does get as far as Adams either resigning or getting the shove then for me, three spring to mind - Pulis, who can certainly turn a team round ( as we saw with Palace last year), and will get the respect of the players (one way or another) - Moyes - who was vastly out of his depth at United, but would fit like a glove here if we could tempt him, and - Steve Clarke - who  worked under a tight budget at W. Brom and still did a pretty good job there. Would definitely want someone of that calibre and experience or else it´s hardly worth while making a change, like for like isn´t going to get us promoted this year.

I wanted Lennon because I thought he would knock the complacency out of a newly relegated squad, and maximise the potential of one of our key assets, Hooper. I also thought that Warnock or indeed McCarthy would have taken us to automatic promotion. We won't be able to tempt the latter now, and the former two are in relatively new positions. I can only see Pulis as a realistic shout to take us to the playoffs. Automatic promotion has already gone.

I also like the idea of Zola....although I readily admit I think I like the idea of Zola probably more than I would enjoy the reality! I loved him as a player and his ethos as a manager, but he hasn't really had the success to suggest he would be able to get the best out of our squad

I´ve no idea about Moyes and Sociedad, Killie, could quite possibly be, been very quiet about him for ages now, but he just struck me as a very suitable option, that´s all.
