Which Pinkun posters are you disappointed havent joined this forum and would like to see here?

Personally, I found I agreed with most of what Le Juge said. I miss Purple Canary for his financial input. I miss Mr Chops/Bor Bor Bor for his humour, though I think he stopped coming on.

Does anyone know if the guy behind Holtamania is on any forum? I used to read his match reports avidly. I follow him on Twitter (I joined a few weeks ago though dont use it often) but its not the same.

People dont seem to be coming over anymore

Always worth reading a thread where Nutty is active to see if anybody else can have the last word! Not happened yet.

I don't post in either place much, but read both all the time. Recently I've enjoyed Tumbleweeds posts. Dunno if he's "over here". And yes, Ricardo is always a good read. Must be a sound egg.

yes Ricardo for me, I like his match reviews and they are the main reason why I still go over, but I like this site a lot and it deserves more traffic!

Just go have a look! A lot of people still use both forums, so we should really be trying to avoid the "he said, she said" thing between the two.

I wasnt suggesting people should start an us or them thing, but this forum is young and fragile and risks falling through. I wanted to make sure I didnt simply find myself reverting to the pinkun and playing my part in letting this place fall through. I probably wouldnt post the same thing on both sites (I honestly dont enjoy the sound of my own voice that much) so decided to commit to this site. Not suggesting anybody should behave the same or be admonished for not

This board requires a little more self restraint - and that is no bad thing - a place where we can all talk freely without fear of abuse.   But let's not pretend that its all sweetness and light, because it isn't.  This board has plenty of posters who are still on both boards and who contribute differently depending on which board they are on.  The fact that that happens shows that there is a place for both boards - one where people can "let their hair down" a bit  and this one where you know it will be more civilised.  I like both boards, this one should build well because of the way it is set up - but people on here are no better than the people "over there" - after all a lot of them are the same........

I still post on both boards but try to make this one my main one. I also try not to change persona. But if I want to debate with Ricardo and Purple then I have to go to the other one.

I cant help thinking people have misinterpreted my comments. I havent been trying to suggest either board is superior, though I think this forum (in terms of the software etc) is far superior to the frustrating pinkun

Having read my post where I ask about the nature of the forum, I merely intended to ask whether it has been affected by the emergence of a rival - ie is it quieter at all or would you never know another forum had sprung up. I wasnt looking down on the pinkun at all
