According to the FA site, it seems to be Dec 31st for the PL, but Nov 30 for the other leagues, so he may not be banned.

However the pinkun account has just tweeted that he is banned for Saturday!

I would take a draw now for this to be perfectly honest. Promises to be a very difficult game. However if we can somehow snatch a win then we'll almost certainly be in a play-off place, and just 2 points off Derby. Plus we'll be in very good shape going into 2 'winnable' games against Millwall and Reading.

That's the team I'd play and that's the team I think we will see as well. There's no way that Redmond can be left out after his appearance off the bench against Huddersfield, and Martin and Cuellar actually impressed me a lot that game as well. The only down side to that is that Whittaker will have to play right back, which considering he's been next to useless this season is a worry. I think we would be better off recalling Elliott Bennett and playing him right back but there is obviously no chance that'll happen. I'd definitely like to see us sign a new right back in January. Also, with the likes of Grabban, Lafferty, Hoolahan, Murphy on the bench, we're certainly not short of options in attacking positions should we need them.
 
Gonna go with 2-1 Derby for this. I know they lost last week but I think they'll step it up for this game. As I said before I'd definitely take a point.

I think we are at too critical point of our recent recovery to fanny about. The team will have drawn confidence form the selections and results in the last two games. I really would be loathe to change things in this game. Away from home you keep it solid, frustrate the home side and draw them out when they come looking for the win, then hit them on the break. Just like teams were doing to us at Carrow road.

Too often, in past games we haven't been clever enough, and often scoring too early, away from home, does you no favours.

Have we though? Redmond's introduction was the catalyst for the big win the other day. Without him we may have got squat.

As much as I loath Whittaker at right back and Martin at centre back, I really can't see the back four being altered for this game. The same with the midfield combination.

My only concern is that Derby will have lots of possession and our ability to counter at pace is limited with the Howson, Tettey, O'Neil and Johnson formation. Maybe that's why I'd like to see Redmond start, not that I expect it to happen.

If we were at home, I could see playing Redmond, but away we need to keep it tight. Redmond rightly pushes towards the by-line to get his crosses in and if the ball is lost, we're then a man down in midfield as Derby stream forward. They're particularly strong on the right, and leaving Whittaker on is own over there could prove fatal. With Redmond, Wes, Lafferty and Grabban all available from the bench we have the means to change things. I'd go for playing incisive balls into the channels for Hooper and Jerome to run on to, like we did at Wigan whilst keeping our shape to fend off Derby's attacks.

In my opinion, yes. Tactics and substitutions are all part of the game, and are part of the reason we won. And they are two things that have been questioned previously.

I agree with a lot of what's been said, the defence should stay the same after 2 clean sheets, even though Martin is our best right back. However, Redmond should play - he will be an important outlet away from home against one of the few teams we'll play this season that will have most of the possession. It's important to have numbers in midfield - and a means of catching Derby on the break. With that mind, I'm not convinced that we can get away with 2 up front on Saturday. Hooper may have to drop to the bench, in spite of his recent excellent performances. As others have pointed out, whatever the starting line-up, we have some excellent options on the bench, including our best player: Wes.

4-5-1 with Wes in Midfield? I'm not a huge Wes fan ( well I am when he's playing well, but he makes things tactically difficult, but thats a debate for another time) but he can hold the ball well.

I'm with morty on this one, it would be crazy to change our starting line up just as we see improvement and organisation, and that's aside of me wanting to see Redmond start for selfish reasons. I can however certainly cope with him coming of the bench as an impact sub and helping us smash and grab a win after the initial team has held firm for an hour, which is something like I am expecting.
