As I was saying, the manager believes in ability to adapt, and his object is to enable his players to do this.The Wolves manager, somewhat bemused, spoke about the two different teams his team seemed to be playing against. One of the virtues of the new manager, lacking partly in his predecessors, was the ability to change and influence a match, and if Jackett is right then other clubs will find it difficult to select teams and respond, because they are not sure which Norwich they will encounter.

Some have questioned how Dorrans will fit in, and the answer is that as just about a complete midfielder he will will fit in with any shape and tactics. We have a lot of midfielders now, and we can't play more than a fraction in a game. We have a fit again Vadis near to returning, we have the two Murphy lads, and add the experience of Howson, Redmond, Wes, Tettey,  Johnson, Andreu and O'Neil, and the midfield could become the powerhouse it should be, in different styles of play.

Dorrans seems a perfect fit for Neil's styles, and I hope that we hang on to him.

I sense that we are all feeling increasingly confident, especially as the defence  now seems more compact than it was. We haven't seen the full effect of the Neil approach, but I am liking what I see!

Definitely a different midfield today! Not sure about dropping Redmond and Hoops as they have been playing well! Will see how it goes!

Alex Neil played Watford like a fiddle today.

At half time I was thinking we we're here to grind out a draw, the fullbacks pushed up and we stifled Watford completely for 45 minutes.

Then something subtly changed, whether it was Watford were pressing forward more, or they were just a bit more open, or we consciously stepped up a gear, I don't know.

But it worked!
