21 year old Iranian winger playing for NEC Nijmegen in the Eredivisie. Can play as a winger and attacking midfielder.

Not going to pretend to know anything about him but from reading bits and pieces and highlights on Youtube [pro armchair scout] he seems good. Very solid technically and seems to have a decent work rate about him. If he is capable of showing his skills in a more physical league it would be an interesting move for sure.

Voted the best player in the Dutch 2nd Division last season (which admittedly isn't the most prestigious award). But 21 years old, 13 goals and 18 assists last season, and also had a quick glance through Youtube and seems to have a wide skill set. Big question mark over whether he could do it in the Premier League, but depending on the fee I wouldn't be against a move.

cant remember much about the individual performances from last summers world cup but the iranian team did seem a capable,  hard working organised team with a little flair;   so perhaps this may be something if he fits Neils ethics

I agree about his skills set having watched the videos and he has a decent amount of experience for a 21 year-old. Would offer a useful option on either flank.

Brighton have had a £1.4m bid for him accepted. If we were really interested then we would be unlikely to lose out to a bottom half Championship team, so could be an interesting couple of days.

Imagine moving from an all out attack Dutch side to Chris Hughton team. Hope he doesn't get whiplash.

I wonder if he was on our replace redmond if he leaves list?

Not expensive,  wouldnt hit our 25 man squad,  but exactly the same as redmond,  probably elliot from an attacking option and the two murphys.    Not a position we really need to strengthen?

For 1.4m cant argue. This could be one of those we'll look back at in 2 years when Brighton are asking 10m for him!

at that price, why not give him a go, even if it doesn't work out should be able to get a decent portion of that sum back, and I agree about Brighton wanting £10m for him in a couple of years, imagine what Redmond would cost now if we hadn't of bought him when we did

I believe his agent has all but said that Brighton isn't going to happen. I believe Brighton and an American side are the only ones to openly express interest.

Holding out for a move to one of the top Dutch sides or us, perhaps.

Probably wants a step-up. Being at a second tier club already probably wants to feel like he's moved forward. For 1.4m its not much of a gamble, and we need a left winger
