They can arrange a pre-contract agreement now, but he wouldn't officially become our player until 1st July. So perhaps he has signed and the club have chosen to wait until 1st July to announce?

Unless we hear that Toffolo is certainly not going to be a part of AN's plans I don't think we'll sign another left back. If Yedlin signs we'll have Olsson, Toffolo, him and Whittaker that can play there with Russ moving back out wide if needed. 

That central attacking midfield position will be the hardest to fill imo, it's the position I hope the club look abroad for. Short term I'd consider taking Pritchard on loan as he can play as a number 10 or a winger.

I find our striking situation complicated.

Will Hooper be happy again to be a bit part player, unlikely to play often as a single striker?

Will Ricky "stay and fight for his place?"

Will Grabban cut it in the prem?

1) Probably, he seems like the kind of guy happy to just do his little bit if the money's right. I'd be amazed if he dropped to an average championship team now. 

2) I'd love to say yes, but he doesn't seem to suit AN's style at all. Unless he drops Wes and plays him up top with Jerome. 

3) The kind of player who will always put in a shift, but will score very few goals. Just like Simeon Jackson did. Similar level of quality

Love Simeon Jackson but Grabban is a couple of levels above him. I've said before that he's our wildcard going into next season, but his chance conversion rate very much belongs in the Championship. Well, he's probably just entering his 'prime' so we'll see.

Yeah, probably not far off being my thoughts.

I think we need to ship Ricky out and but someone genuine Premiership quality, to be second choice behind Jerome, in the lone striker role.

I'm not saying he isn't. But there are very few who'd be willing to sit on the bench behind him imo.  Maybe someone like Dame N'Doye?

I saw that rumour, don't think so. Apparently on HUGE wages and not a whole lot better than what we have. If he had that 1 in 3 strikerate over the entirety of a Premier League season perhaps I could see us going for it but it was only 15 games. He's also 30.
