Just seen a french journalist on twitter (@sebhuzler) post a picture of someone seeing him at an airport, and said he was on his way to us.  Sounds like this is more than 'just another transfer rumour' now.

On the subject of Mbokani, it seems he only appeared in 8 games last season for a total of 430 minutes. Was that because of injuries, or just because he wasn't being picked, but in either case it could be a concern.

Hard to know how we've properly scouted him if this is the case, unless its a recommendation from Mulumbu? Are they international team-mates?

It was because the manager at Kiev had a thing about squad rotation. Congolese papers are reporting him as signing for us for £5.5m but suspect that's premature, although I do think this is one the few transfer rumours that has legs.
